Very enjoyable stay, room was beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast was so lovely! Only comment was the shower was difficult to get to a decent temperature, either boiling hot or tepid (room 7).

Personal service and bent over backwards to help when our little girl was ill. Even though the power had been cut due to Storm Arwen. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Beautiful village too.

Excellent stay from start to finish. Such a friendly welcome on arrival. We had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The food & service at The Miners Arms was brilliant, dinner both nights really good, great breakfasts both mornings. The meals were excellent value for money. We will definitely be returning.

A very welcoming warm and friendly place to stay. Rooms are spotlessly clean and have all that you require. A lovely village and very central for visiting other parts of the Peak District. Highly recommended. Jane C

The Miners Arms is a traditional pub in the charming Peak District village of Eyam. The village has an interesting history and there are lots of places to visit and many wonderful walks. The staff at the pub are very friendly and welcoming. The pub is clean and cosy and offers very good pub food and a selection of beers. The rooms are clean and tidy, but are on the small size and a little dated. All in all, we enjoyed a very pleasant stay.

We stayed for one night after a wedding. We were able to check in and take our bags to the room early (before the usual check in time) so that was great that they accommodated that for us. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was tasty. Car park is big. The room was OK - nothing special but reasonably clean so that’s all we could ask for really.

Great for a one-night stay but not having a shower was a bit of a disappointment.

This was an old property in the centre of the village. The room was tiny. Before Covid I used to stay regularly in hotels and usually booked as a single traveller. Normally I would get a double or twin room but for only the second time I can recall I was given a room which appeared to be a converted child’s room. There was little storage space and the top of the wardrobe appeared to offer a safe place for my suitcase. However it was thick with dust and unusable as I risked being covered in the dust. The hot water appeared to have an airlock as it ran at a trickle. The shower door handle was loose or broken as it seemed to be missing a part. This is the only stay I’ve had where no attempt was made to service the room during my three-day visit. I don’t mind making my bed but for the charges made one would expect basic services to be provided. The staff were friendly and helpful but the breakfast was limited as things like croissants, rolls or yogurts were not on the menu. The cooked breakfast was well presented, hot and appeared to be cooked to order. It is not a place I would choose to return to if I was by myself.
