from the beginning the staff was very nice and accommodating, i got there 3 hours early and was able to check in within 15 mins! the room was very clean (they are small however perfect for solo or couple travel) it had a nice view of the downstairs patio accompanied by a huge mural. downstairs they have a full kitchen, library, common room, and bathrooms. the decor downstairs is a vibe! glow in the dark, comfy couches. and above all the rooftop bar! WOW! the view, the drinks, the staff, all amazing. i travel by myself and was welcomed by the staff and everyone who was there was very friendly. 10/10 would recommend, and i will be back!

After a friend told me about her experience I had to check it out for myself. Definitely was a comfortable cozy. Stay very convenient. Plenty of free, parking that is close by. The café was pretty good as well.

The Selina hotel is nestled in a vibrant diverse flourishing business sector about 15 minutes from Downtown DC and/or the airport. It was quick Lyft ride and we could easily get to our meetings. We got there late at night, which made it a little challenging to find. They have an app to check-in and it works...they were waiting for us. I was a little concerned because I called to let them know we were arrving late prior to traveling, and no one picked up the phone. But once we got there as saw they were expecting us, we immediately felt that warmth of the front desk staff and were digging the place. We loved the vibe, full of artistry, music, relaxed/casual business spaces, funky background music and a helpful front desk. It's located in the outskirts of the fancy/stuffy more formal business area, and so will appeal to business travelers who are looking for less sterile work travel accommodations. It was nice to do work in the co-working space in the lobby, and grab a nice breakfast of hot coffee, hard bolied eggs, toast and fruit. The room was very comfortable and clean. We love the "artist loft"/industrial look and feel of the room and entire building overall. A few blocks away, there are plenty of fabulous restaurants and shops, great for meeting with people in a more hip environment. Loved all the diversity. Had lunch at Las Gemelas restaurant - had the tacos al pastor and they were delicious. I wll definitely stay at Selina next time I'm in Washington DC.

Overall a great place to stay, closely located to train stations NoMa with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Be aware the staff tried to charge me a $100 ‘experience’ fee on arrival that was not disclosed on Expedia. Push back and they waive it. This is BS and not worth it, they say it covers breakfast and activities, the breakfast is not worth it so if you don’t want to do the rooftop drink and yoga classes don’t pay it. A bit annoying but I assume its the head office, not the desk staff. They were helpful and friendly.
