We had the best experience!!! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary and the gentleman checking us in gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! Such a cute unique hotel nestled in the mountains of Kauai. It was a little older since it’s Kauai’s first hotel, but they’ve definitely maintained it well and added some upgrades. We will definitely be staying again next time we come back.

Awesome place and experience. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Fantastic tropical setting and mood. Its common knowledge that chickens are everywhere in Kauai, and I was warned about the loud roosters concert in the early morning, and was offered earplugs which I declined. My room was 2nd floor and the rooster chatter did not really effect my sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Kauai Inn and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Kauai. The property is charming and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery and green landscapes. The location was convenient. Peacocks join you for breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful. There is complimentary continental breakfast available every day. They also have live performances in Fridays. Overall, a great stay!

Kauai Inn is a great place to stay if you’re on a budget. Breakfast was good, pool was clean and the property was decent shape. Lots of Peacocks roaming around the property. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed the grounds that are very well kept. The gas BBQ area was amazing with spectacular views. Rooms are clean. The staff are always helpful and friendly. They have movie nights in the grounds, and various local music artists throughout the week. Music was always done by 9 or so. Great place families with kids too as they have nice pool. Continental breakfast is served every day. There is a small laundry there too. There are animals on the property that are super chill. The cats are sweet friendly and quiets. We loved it here and were sorry to leave. We will be back!

The Kauai Inn is quirky, eclectic, and all the other adjectives that describe a historic inn nestled next to the Lihue harbor. Drive past the warehouses, docks, storage tanks, and assorted industrial activity to a secluded garden spot housing rooms that look like they're relics from the 50s. Will you be impressed with the luxurious surroundings and comfort? No. But everything works, the place is clean, quiet, and well organized. The Wifi is nice, strong, and steady, and the view out the back sliding door is phenomenal. Enjoy (or not) the chickens and peacocks waking you up each morning, and know you're right where you need to be to quickly get to wherever and whatever Kauai has in store for you that day.

Great place for a perfect hawaii vacation! very close to malls and food places. There was a connecting bridge closure but it had opened up towards the end of our trip! The place is wonderful staff is great. we enjoyed the pool. They provide free towels picnic chairs snorkelling gears for day use, which is wonderful. Breakfast was amazing! fresh fruits bagels tea cofee and pancakes. I loved the evening sshows they host with hawaiian singers and dancers, kind if your own private lauau with few other vsiitors. Love this place!

My stay at Kauai Inn was absolutely amazing! The staff was so kind and welcoming, and the whole property had such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the island. I loved waking up to the beautiful scenery and animals every morning. This hotel truly made my trip to Kauai even more special. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island!

Check in staff were helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Quick check in with a normal key, not key card. One clean beach/pool towel available per day. Phone charger, cords, small snacks and drinks available for charge to your room. Free Keurig coffee and a wide variety of teas available all day and night right outside the front desk. Continental breakfast included bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, milk, juice, yogurt, and applesauce. They have so many plumeria trees and hibiscus bushes on site, as well as peacock/peafowl, chickens, and a loving kitty. The room was relatively clean. Some of the window sills were dusty but not a problem for me! It’s an older looking property and the bathroom sort of reflected that in that the cabinets were a little beat up, but the mirror was modern and had different lighting settings- I loved it. The shower water pressure was perfect, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were silky coconut scented. Great! The AC was loud at first but I quickly adjusted and it actually helped me to fall asleep. The mattress and pillows were mega comfy! Refrigerator and microwave in the room were convenient. If you’re looking for a fancy, resort-style stay for vacation, go elsewhere because this place is better for a laidback, comfortable home-feeling stay. My partner and I loved it and will be going back anytime we visit Kauai. This truly was a great place to wake up at and come back to after a day of driving and adventures.

Quiet, so peaceful. The staff is helpful and nice. The room is a little bit old but serves the purpose. Beds are surprisingly comfy , water pressure is good. Kauai Inn serves continental breakfast, but I wish they have boiled eggs. Overall our stay was pretty nice.

Our stay was amazing from beginning to end! This is a truly family-oriented hotel with very kind and friendly staff who make you feel welcome right away. The organic breakfast every morning was delicious, and they provide everything you may need during your stay, including coolers, towels, and beach chairs, so you don’t have to bring extra items with you. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need; although the property is older, it is very well maintained and full of charm. Parking was easy, and as an Expedia VIP guest, we were pleasantly surprised with a wonderful bottle of wine and even got to choose the type we preferred, which made us feel very spoiled. In the evenings, the live music creates such a relaxing and beautiful island atmosphere. The birds and roosters around the property add to the authentic island vibe that you experience all over the island. Everything was extremely clean, and whenever we needed towels or anything else, the staff brought it immediately. The shower water pressure was excellent, and the shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner provided were a great bonus. Thank you for everything and for making our stay so special!
