The location is good. Across the street from a beautiful beach. At check in, I was charged a resort fee of $500. It's not worth spending the entire time you are on vacation except sleeping, showering, and leaving. The pool only receives sunlight from 330430, so if you want to see the sun in Hawaii, you will not find that here. The restaurant is outrageously overpriced. The hotel is also old and dated. The area is beautiful, however, there are other places around the world that are more reasonable in price.

We stayed here for one part of our honeymoon and it was a lovely time. The Waikiki beach is only a short distance from the hotel and we were watching it from our balcony. There is a good restaurant by the pool and you can participate in regular hotel activities like making your own orchid necklaces etc.

Overall a pleasant place to stay, with a good value even though we liked the feel of the higher star hotels. It's a tradeoff, value for luxury. It's a fair price. Not luxurious, but it's nice accommodations. Breakfast is worth it for 4 or more people, with a big view. It comes with free access to beach equipment, and the lagoon beach across the street is great for younger families.

In October, we had a wonderful experience staying at the Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel called the twin fin. The staff was incredibly cordial and helpful. We had a wonderful night's sleep thanks to the comfy bed. The location was simply outstanding. There was a wide variety of great cuisine. The view was breathtaking! We have visited all over the globe and this was by far the greatest vacation we've ever had!.
