Located in Old Quarter area (duh) near Alcohol street; can be tricky to find if you're first timer and arrive in the middle of the night. Alcohol street can be so crowded but their noise didn't reach the hostel. Stayed at 4-bed female dorm on the 5th floor (there's lift/elevator and stairs) with private bathroom (shared bathroom is also available), the room is clean and neat. There are 2 electric sockets on my bed but one of them is broken; I just need 1 anyway, so it's not an issue. The staff are all very kind and friendly. They have daily deal so better join their WhatsApp group; one of them is FREE walking tour. I was with Billy, and I quote his statement "everything I told you, you better Billy-ve me".

Recommended! At the outset of our trip to vietnam, this hostel was a fantastic place to stay. Despite being in the heart of the old town, the structure is situated in a small alley, just off the main thoroughfares. When they saw us in the lobby, the staff members called us by our names. We took the walking tour with billy, who was extremely knowledgeable and offered us unique culinary experiences. He also shared his favorite restaurants and provided us with insider tips on the city and the nation. We adored his enthusiasm and smiles.

The hostel offers a free walking tour most days with the guide, it is a great way to meet other travelers and bb is an extremely insightful and passionate guide! He will give you great advice on where to go and the history of the city. We went to the largest wholesale market in hano, the oldest bridge in hanoi, and visited train street where you could wait for it to pass.

We went on a free tour of the old quarter with blyde from our hostel. He was amazing! Very knowledgeable and took us to all the good spots. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The hostel is worth the price. Very clean, good vibes, not loud at all and in a great location. Plus free beer and games during happy hour and a delicious breakfast for purchase in the morning.

I had a great time! Great space, private beds with curtains, and very friendly staff. I recently went on a walking tour with bliss, and he was the best. He was very kind, informed, and happy to help us out and take our pictures! Thank you, bliss!.

I would be happy to come back here to stay in the 6 bedroom dorm again! My boyfriend and i stayed in the 6 bedroom dorm for 2 nights and would be happy to come back here. Bedrooms are spacious with two lockers with keys available per person, one in the bedroom and one in the room. The bendy night light and two chargers worked smoothly, and curtains wrap around the bed. There is one toilet and one shower per room, but there are 3 toilets and showers in the hallway, most of the time completely empty. Very clean. There is an elevator and two stairways for the 4-5 floors of the hostel. Visitors and hostel activities the people staying here seem to be in their midthirties or older, very respectful in the dorm and the hostel offers free beer for 30 minutes in the evening which was a great way to meet others without a heavy party atmosphere. Also a free walking tour with bluff, which was another great social option to see the city and do a hostel activity that is not only drinking. I heard the breakfast was also delicious, but i havent had one myself. Location and noise right in the old quarter, this was a very convenient place, a block from the nightlife and with many restaurants just outside. I was impressed that being so close to the action there was no street noise in my dorm. Wifi Smooth wifi in the dorm and common areas, i could use it without any delays.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The cleanliness and organization of the hostel were impeccable, and the food served was delectable, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I particularly enjoyed the walking tour, our guide, bill, gave us a glimpse of the city that we would not have otherwise experienced, and it served as a delightful way to begin my stay in hanoi.

The hostel boasts a remarkable and expansive location, boasting a pleasant communal seating area featuring a projector screen featuring sports and other amenities. The staff members were exceptionally accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. Our sixbed dorm included ample space and safe lockers, adding to our overall convenience. I appreciated the addition of stairs to the top bunk, rather than relying on a ladder. Situated in the heart of the old quarter, with beer street just a short 2minute walk away, it offers a tranquil retreat.

The hostel was fantastic! Although the reception is still open when we arrived early in the morning, we were able to shower and store our backpacks while we waited to check in. The bathroom is immaculate, and we stayed in a room with four beds. It includes a hairdryer, bathmat, and shower door. Sorry, i cant say it quite well. Strongly advised!.

Would definitely recommend staying here to make the most of your time in hanoi. The hostel was fantastic, with a very friendly staff and a comfortable bed. I really enjoyed the walking tour with billy, so many good recommendations, and we got to see train street, which was really cool.

The hostel is very quiet and clean. The staff are very nice and chill. Its great when you need a break from the noise in the city. I got sick from the weather and could sleep very well because the bed is very comfortable.

Billy gave us a cooking tour. It was so amazing to go to the local market and see all the food, and then come back and make spring rolls. The food was delicious. Billy was so kind. Thank you.

The hostel is located in one of the most picturesque and active areas of hanoi, the old quarter. All major attractions are close by. The hostel has a cozy atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The hostel offers free unlimited beer from 6.30 pm to 7 pm, which is a unique service that deserves to be appreciated. Now for the room, we booked 2 beds in a 4 bed dorm. The room size is slightly smaller than the photos. The room has its own private bathroom for the 4 people staying, apart from the common bathroom for the floor, which can also be used if needed. The atmosphere of the hostel is quiet and there is no outside disturbance once you are inside your room. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to meet new people from all over the world. Cheers!.

It was a wonderful experience at the old quarter view hanoi hostel. The rooms are clean, the curtains provide the necessary privacy and the location is very central. You can reach many highlights of hanoi in a short time. There is also a free daily walking tour. Our guide, billy, showed us around the city very well and gave us interesting information. Highly recommended if you want to meet cool people!.

I had a great time at the hostel. The bathrooms were spotless, the bed was cozy, and there were courtyards for privacy. The employees there, including ocean, lee, and nancy, were excellent. In relation to my stay at the hostel, they were incredibly helpful with both trip planning and my own. I wholeheartedly endorse it for a stay.

Strongly recommended! Fantastic setting, tucked away on a side street, quiet at night, yet only a minutes walk from ta hien. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure we were informed of our location and had the necessary towels and items. The welcoming atmosphere was lovely, and everything was spotless.
