This place has a nice interior. And the location is also quite strategic and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast here was really good, and also the service here was also great.

Highly advised. We stayed at Hoh for a few nights and were pleasantly pleased with the quality service, the wonderful furnishings, and the cleanliness of the premises. The lighting was great, and the bed was comfy, with a lovely shower. The heating popped up as it had cooled off because it had cooled off because of the rain. Christine is a wonderful host, and her breakfasts are excellent. There was no need for lunch on those days we stayed because there was so much variety of food, fruit, and cake. Parking is extra 5 chf, and despite the nearby road and train, the noise levels are comfortable low.

The room was wonderful. The view of the lake and distant snowcapped mountains is stunning. The staff was extremely friendly. Nothing was too much bother. The immediate environment is calm, not too much traffic, and not busy, yet close to the nearby town on foot. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea in our room. The food, including breakfast, was always excellent and irresistible, with a variety of sitting areas both inside and outside by the lake. It was a pleasure to sit by the full length windows and just watch the lake and cranes? Gather for their evening meal to be delivered by a local fisherman. Peace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy but functional hotel and would certainly suggest it. Our three nights here included a family wedding reception. In the beginning, if you enjoy and are looking for polished corporate lodging, this is probably not for you. This hotel is an old building with a variety of furniture, decor, and furnishings. It is perhaps a little unusual, but it is a terrific place to stay. The management and staff are pleasant, helpful, and efficient, and the room we stayed in on the second floor, room 26 was clean, well-maintained, and especially in november. The rooms views over the lake are stunning, especially at night with millions of stars and reflections on the water from the distant shore. We had one dinner there, and that was at the wedding reception, and it was wonderful. The restaurant appeared to be constantly busy, possibly with locals, which is always a good sign. There are many vegetarian options. Breakfasts were again excellent, with a reasonable selection of cereals, fruit, cheeses, bread with bacon, and scrambled eggs for those looking for a warm element there might have been more demand. The hotel is quite out of the center of Zurich, I would not consider walking there, and taxis are very expensive, but there is a railway station about 15 minutes away, and trains to the city are very regular every 15 minutes. We had a delightful threenight stay at our lakeside room in august, with large french windows giving stunning views of the small harbor and lake beyond. The minimal nuances of pale blue and grey in the decor complemented the outside colors, creating a peaceful and welcoming ambiance both in the room and the hotels public spaces. We also had an espresso coffee machine, which, sadly, wasnt working for the first two days of our visit despite repeatedly asking the normally efficient and helpful reception staff for help. Once someone had actually turned up to look at it, the issue was easily resolved. There was a fan in the room, which was necessary because of the extremely warm temperatures, but no air conditioning. Plenty of free parking was available along the street. The restaurantterrace is a true hallmark of the hotel, the stunning views of the lake make it a wonderful place to eat the delicious buffet breakfast each morning. Many locals ate there both during lunchtime and the night we selected to sample the cuisine, which was quite stressful since we werent given any drinks besides aperitifs and had to ask for three times for the bill, eventually leaving the restaurant and quickly being able to resolve the issue at the reception desk. Along the lakeside, there are a number of alternative eateries within walking distance. This hotel was in a great location for exploring the area around Lake Zurich, and we would visit

Excellent service from the staff, the most excellent location, and the most spacious rooms! I've been here 56 times already and will continue to do so, but a lot of rooms in the Zurich area are overpriced for what you get, but this is not the case. The service is extremely welcoming and helpful, and most importantly, the staff is extremely helpful. Can only suggest this place!

The fish that we saw in the snout was ideal. Even though the risotto had low mushrooms, those who ordered it were satisfied. The waiters vanished after a while and had to chase them to order sweets, but the service was prompt and polite at first. Even though there was a wedding party, the setting was quiet without music, allowing us to fully enjoy the spectacular lake view, sunset, and incredible moon rise.
