The room was spacious and comfortable but quite ordinary. It was very disappointing to see this old milder hotel that was known as the commercial then the 1930 s Winters still exists. But the current owner will have certain drawbacks if not much effort is put into decoration, amenities and building a vibe. All of this hasn't been done. In fact, the restaurant was closed. Room service for breakfast was provided on paper plates, but only half of what we ordered was delivered.

I've never before stayed here, so I thought I'd try it. Main body is old, refurbished, no exterior light enters the room, comfortable, clean, reasonably sized, large bathroom and shower with good pressure. Wifi would not work in my room, but I don't really care about that. Old fashioned, miniature, anachronistic elevator was entertaining. Had undercover parking for my bike at the back of a large parking lot but had a luggage rack to transport my belongings to and from the room. Great service from the lady at the front desk. The restaurant is quite good with excellent service. I will happily stay here again.

We have to say that this place has a historic look, as seen in other reviews. We could see that this place needs to be upgraded because some reviewers feel that it is outdated. Despite this facility's older parts, some of them are simply stunning and historic. For instance, having a triple doomed treat navigate a floor in the lift is a real experience. Other than that, the stained glass windows on the main staircase and some historic photos are well worth a moment to enjoy. The receptionist, Simone, made us feel welcome and appreciate the warmth, kindness, and kindness at the end of a lengthy journey. Although we had only reserved a standard room, it was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and there were plenty of things for a cuppa as we settled in. The setting is also perfect and puts you right in the heart of the milder action with a quick stroll to shops, restaurants, and the river. We had a great time and would not think twice about returning to stay here and hopefully more than two nights so we can really use the pool.

The restaurant was closed indefinitely when we arrived. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was very old. Carpets and the entire space really needed a thorough cleaning. The internet was very slow. We had planned to stay for two nights but one was enough. Close to stores and restaurants. Excellent location. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated. At the front desk, a sixpack of beer and a small bag of chips cost $ 52.
