A great location to access the train station.

Typical businessmen hotel with excellent service a great economical place with free Japanese breakfast. Exit the south gate and turn right a few minutes walk. The rooms are compact but efficient clean and comfortable with enough space for working on laptop computers. Lan connection as well as wifi in all rooms and lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. The humidifier wasnt in the usual place under the bed but when I asked the staff they brought one up to the room quickly and it was already filled with water. Joined the Take Inn membership and got free stay for every 10 of 250 Take Inns throughout Japan and now expanding in Asia and internationally.

We had 3 beds in our room. The grd bed was not even a bed. It was an old couch with the back removed and a futon on top. I slept in the bed and let my wife, motherinlaw, and daughters use the other beds. Worst night I have had since my daughters were first born and we were feeding every 2 hours. Terrible that they think this is reasonable and charge money for this disservice. Also, the standard Japanese room remodel with the insert bathrooms. We had 1 foot step to enter the bathroom. The insert was small for any American of size. It was fine for my in laws and wife who are both 5 foot tall and Japanese.

The location of hotel is near Shinkansen Shinkansen Shinkansen Shinkansen Shinjumbo station. The staff were very attentive. But the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom is also very small. Breakfast is very basic but for all guests it is free.

I wanted to visit the first Japanese city I had ever visited, when I finally got some vacation time. In May 2011, I had previously visited Shimonoseki for business, and since my vacation was coming up in August, I wanted to get a sense of the city. There are numerous hotels close to the international ferry terminal, however, the week I intended to arrive, many of them were booked and frankly, too expensive for my budget. I desired a decent balance of comfort and price, and thanks to this hotel, I was able to do so before 3 am and made it up at 8 in the morning. When I finally checked in, I was greeted by courteous staff and a tidy, comfortable room. I was sweaty and exhausted from the day of walking. I had chosen the breakfast plan and, in most cases, chose the delectable japanesestyle breakfasts. The hotel restaurant also served fugu for the first time. I wanted to sample this dish before I departed because Shimonoseki is known as the fugu capital of Japan. In conclusion, the service was outstanding, and I would recommend this hotel for those visiting Shimononoseki. And a very big thank you to the manager, my. Takashi human as well!.

I was staying at this hotel a little far from shinyamaguchi station, very good quality, very helpful, also had good personal service, even though it's not an American style breakfast. I don't mind it being close to the station, but the price is worth it with the good comfort, plus the very quiet place and the convenient location.

We adore the quality of service, cleanliness, and location of this hotel. The manager, taking yama, was excellent in English, and the staff was extremely kind. She aided us with everything we required, as well as phoning the luggage service to have our luggage picked up. There is a spacious and firm bed in the room, which is spotless. It is always free and the internet is superb. Each evening, there is a breakfast and a light curry dinner, which is nice if you are too tired to leave early. Two blocks away, a sizable shopping district, and or and Shinkansen train stations are directly across the street. When we visit Shin Yenguchi, we would without a doubt return here.

Even my 80-year-old father raved about the texture and flavor difference. Definitely recommend, even if you just stop by to eat. The room was small, but the restaurant served the best fugu in Japan.
