Our family, including our family mom, dad, and sons ages 6, 12, 14, and 16 have stayed at this wonderful, practical, family-owned, and successful hotel in central burden several times over the past ten years. It is always very clean and well-managed, as one would expect in German, and costs are very affordable. Additionally, the kind proprietors explained to us that they had recently purchased a large historic building across the street, which would be expanded to accommodate more customers in 2019. If you want to stay in a 100 locally owned hotel in the heart of a small but modern rural German village surrounded by breathtaking uninterrupted rolling hills of farmland where carefully-tended crops grow to the edge of the road, with super friendly just century german hospitality, a father and son working shoulder to shoulder with local foods, local beers, and unpretentious practical excellence, the dining room is filled with local residents and hotel guests!.

Overall, this hotel is clean and comfortable, but not exciting. I stayed in a spacious room in the dependence, right behind the car park, with old and boring furniture. It comes with a good quality bed and a quiet environment, but it's not attractive. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is average with good food but the variety is pretty limited.
