We would heartily suggest this to any couple or family looking to have a break in lovely, peaceful surroundings and cannot praise the mighty old drone. This is unquestionably the location to stay if you're seeking a place to unwind in beautiful, serene surroundings. Alistair and Deirdre are simply outstanding hosts, and Alistair is very knowledgeable about the area and is readily able to provide recommendations for routes and restaurant ideas. From the beginning, they were excellent at welcoming us and providing detailed directions on how to get there. Since a satnav will get you lost, it is best to follow the directions they provide. We remained in a self-catering lodge, which more than satisfied our needs. The restrooms are amazing, and the bedrooms are tastefully appointed, have all the amenities you need and more. We thoroughly enjoyed playing darts and billiards in the games room. The grounds are stunning, and you can pass around them by foot. Also, the village of Kilmuir, which has a stunning coastline and a telephone box for book swapping, is within easy walking distance. We cannot speak more highly of the old drone, and we heartily endorse it to any families or couples who would desire a getaway in lovely and peaceful surroundings. Thank you for making our stay so unforgettable.

What could be nicer than a cozy home away from home in an ideal location in one of the most beautiful places on earth? I said accommodation was offered by two of the warmest, most friendly, and most diligent innkeepers. Deirdre and Alistair Masonie could give you advice on how to run a bed and breakfast. The old drone home just north of governess is among your most popular lodging options in all of Scotland. The setting is breathtaking, the grounds are property-like, the home is pleasant, and the rooms are well-furnished. We stayed in the garden suite double, a nice sized bedroom with a lovely attached bathroom with a jetted bathtub and shower, a welcomed surprise to help alleviate my aches from hiking and a head cold. When you want to bring food, there is a shared room and another bedroom that is connected to the suite, which includes a washing machine, a dining table, and dishware. There is also a dishwasher, so cleaning up after yourself is less difficult. In the suites, there are televisions and a lovely selection of dads if you can't find anything on the satellite feed. Of course, breakfast is the second part. The meal is perfect, and the dining area is intimate and elegant. The kitchen has fresh fruits from the yard and made jams for a table.

The room was very comfortable, very well kept and has a cute look. We really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was delicious, and it was the best we had. We will return to this place later in the year.. This place is quite amazing. You can stay here for your stay. Alistair and Deirdre are amazing. The whole complex is beautiful and comfortable to stay in.. Exceptionally great breakfast. The best breakfast we have ever had in Scotland.

It was fantastic when we stayed here for four nights! Alistair and Deirdre are simply excellent hosts. Deidre takes a great deal of care to make sure everyone is introduced, your breakfast is delicious, and that everyone feels at home. Nothing is too much trouble because breakfast is freshly prepared at home. Freshly prepared breakfasts with an abundance of fruits, and all of them are designed in a lovely traditional scotland manner. Alistair is a wonderful host, and his knowledge of both the local region and the rest of Scotland is fantastic. He discusses with each group who is staying with them, asks about their plans, and then provides a detailed itinerary, maps, and notations to ensure that you get the most out of your day! Thanks to Alfred's instructions and advice, so many groups returned from their days out, and told wonderful tales and memories of their stay. The room was fantastic, with lavish beds, bedsheets, pillows, and decor. Very pleasant and peaceful. The grounds are enormous and strewn with trees over a century old, superb flowers, and wonderful walks down to the shoreline. Just taking time on the grounds is worth it in and of itself! Look for the red squirrel that goes out for breakfast! This is a wonderful choice for anyone, and we will definitely return for a second visit!.

This is by far the most breathtaking be we've ever stayed at in our 20 years of travel! This enormous building is situated right on the water's edge and beautifully landscaped with hundreds of years old trees. You can easily go for a pleasant, satisfying stroll on the grounds itself. Just standing in its midst, looking around, and breathing, was entirely restorative for the body, mind, and soul. The house itself is tastefully and comfortably decorated and decorated with personal warm touches. Our room had all the necessary amenities, including some comforts. The bed was heavenly, and we had the most wonderful night's sleep there. The highlight of our stay was the hosts. Deidre was the most kind and accommodating of all of my difficult dietary quirks and she appeared to wait for us hand and foot! Breakfast was delicious, and the toast, which I'm particularly picky, was ideal. I was kings and sat on her decades-old family china. Her husbandpartner, I'm so sorry I didn't get his name, gave us the most interesting information and tips on the distances we could take, which only a local would know. This location is a steal at their current price. We were sorry when we departed, and the only regret was not having reserved a longer stay! We will most certainly be back.
