Riad Emotion was the best place that we stayed during a 12 day Moroccan excursion. You really felt taken care of and the staff, especially Albert, treated us like family and it felt homey. Only there for 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Rooms were great and unique due to the classic Riad architecture which has a central courtyard that is open to the roof. Very exotic and unique. Each morning a full and fresh breakfast was made to order in the sunshine of the rooftop terrace. Anything we needed was provided and Albert gave us great recommendations for restaurants and a hammam massage. Wonderful stay and we would love to stay there again.

Absolutely perfect, from start to finish! Gorgeous Riad in a great location, owned by Albert who was personable, professional and a wealth of knowledge on both the building and Essaouria. Everything is within walking distance, from the souks to the beach, it’s just a casual stroll away. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. The Riad is beautiful with gorgeous traditional furnishings, the finer details are all taken care of! Bed linen and towels refreshed everyday with a sprinkling of rose petals. The room was perfect in every way. The real highlight of Riad Emotion were the breakfasts. Freshly squeezed orange, fresh yoghurt, preserves, fresh coffee, pastries, choice of eggs, the list is endless! The scrambled eggs were outstanding! On our last day the sun was shining, the terrace was set out beautifully for the guests breakfasts. The girls who prepare this are Hayatt and Samira, they pay so much attention to detail, they truly are the stars of the Riad. We so enjoyed our stay at Riad Emotion, we arrived as guests and left as family! Thank you Albert and the team, we can highly recommend a stay at Riad Emotion, we will be back!

This Riad was lovely! The owners very accommodating and spent at least 30 minutes at checking giving recommendations for restaurants and places to go on a map-was very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast on the rooftop was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend - this Riad is in an excellent location in the Medina as well.

Absolutely! Here’s a beautifully written review you can use: ⸻ From the moment I arrived, I knew this riad was something truly special. The bedding was absolutely outstanding — luxurious, soft, and incredibly comfortable. I slept better here than I have in a long time! Every detail throughout the riad reflects care and thoughtfulness. The attention to detail in the décor, the cleanliness, and the overall ambiance created such a warm and elegant atmosphere. The staff were simply incredible — attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my stay perfect, always with a smile. And the breakfast… wow! Freshly squeezed orange juice, perfectly prepared eggs, delicious banana bread, homemade jams, and so many other fresh, delightful options. Each morning felt like a feast made with love. I truly can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. It exceeded all my expectations, and I will absolutely stay here every time I travel. Highly, highly recommended!

Excellent small Riad which is in a great central Location. The Riad is clean, very peaceful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Each morning guest are treated to the most delicious home cooked breakfast which is served in a beautiful location: a true highlight of the riad that sets you up for the day. This accommodation is highly recommended.

What a real gem this is! From the moment we stepped inside into the tastefully decorated, beautifully perfumed interior we were made to feel welcome. Throughout our 3-night stay, Giselle & Philippe were always on hand to advise and ensure the smooth running of the riad, staffed by the most delightful team. A delicious daily breakfast with homemade local delicacies was served on the terrace. The bedroom provided every comfort, lovely linen, great shower, spotlessly clean with rose petals scattered daily and homemade biscuits provided. We didn't want to leave and have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending this riad for an unforgettable stay.

Le Riad Émotion est très apaisant. Sa décoration est très typique, mais aussi très cocooning, fait avec beaucoup de goût ; nous sommes au centre de la Médina mais c’est d’un calme absolu. Gisèle est au petit soin, le petit déjeuner fait maison est très copieux, ses couchages sont très confortables et elle est de très bon conseil pour la découverte d’Essaouira et ses alentours. Merci également à Hayett et Samira pour la qualité de leurs services.

Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a été chaleureux, avec une boisson de bienvenue accompagnée de délicieux gâteaux. La chambre, décorée avec un goût exquis, offre une literie d’excellente qualité et de superbes linges de lit. Les peignoirs à disposition sont très appréciables et ajoutent une touche de confort supplémentaire. Aucun détail n’est laissé au hasard : bouilloire et cafetière Nespresso à disposition, salle de bain spacieuse, parfaitement agencée et magnifiquement décorée. Le petit déjeuner est un moment d’exception : copieux, raffiné, intégralement fait maison, du jus aux confitures en passant par le yaourt/raibi… un pur délice ! L’équipe, de l’accueil au service du matin, est aux petits soins. Les propriétaires, charmants et passionnés, ont su créer un véritable havre de paix, en préservant avec élégance le patrimoine culturel d’Essaouira. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et une seule envie : revenir très vite. Merci pour ce séjour magique et pour toutes ces attentions, jusqu’au service de repassage ! Un lieu paradisiaque à découvrir absolument… Je vous laisse découvrir toutes les merveilles de cet endroit, je n’en dis pas plus. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Un riad plein d’âme, niché au cœur de la médina. Accueil chaleureux, décor raffiné, silence apaisant… On s’y sent attendu, sans jamais être dérangé. This Road is a gem. Absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated. The staff and owner are delightful and extremely helpful. The Riad has steps to all the rooms as is typical and a terrace where breakfast is served. The breakfast is delicious with fresh bread, eggs, pastries and homemade preserves.

Fantástica opción de alojamiento en Essaouira! Frederic, el dueño del Riad es súper atento y pendiente de los huéspedes, ofreciendo recomendaciones. El desayuno es riquísimo y variado y se toma en la terraza del Riad. Ubicación muy céntrica en la Medina. Totalmente recomendable.

I would strongly recommend staying here. My husband and I hope to visit Etsaouira again and to remain here once more. Phillip, Gazelle, and all the members of their staff were really helpful and friendly throughout our entire visit. The whole piece is gorgeously created and the result of Phillips and Gazelle's creative vision and hard work. Our room was stunning, spotless, and welcoming. Being able to sit and relax in our stunning room could have made it difficult to get out and explore Essaouira. It was undoubtedly the best breakfast weve had during our trip to Morocco.
