Muir Lodge is situated in a favorable location, just north of San Francisco. The most expensive hotel in the neighborhood. The room was clean and wellappointed, with a tasteful renovation. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linens. The only disadvantage was that our room was really tiny, but because we only stayed one night while traveling around the neighborhood, it was acceptable. It's a great hotel if you only use it to rest.

I recommend this hostel if your convenience is the main objective. It's in the center of the city, a short drive from downtown. The accommodation is clean and functional, and the price is very affordable.

We had a great evening for dinner and a walk on the beach because it was less than 30 minutes from Muir Beach. The microwave and refrigerator are nice too. The room was big and clean even though we didn't stay in the room for more than 12 hours.

We requested a room away from traffic when we booked a room. It is situated right on a busy street, and doors and windows face the street or the quiet parking lot at the back of the building. We were given a second-floor room directly across from a roaring highway. no option to move. Fortunately, the noisy air conditioner was muffled while we were in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. Hate the square, raised sink. Had to balance the small amount of soap given to you at the corner edges. No tissue, so had to use toilet paper. Breakfast was advertised as an amenity via Google, but it was not. Enjoyed the large fridge with a separate freezer. Used a microwave's charging port. Different! Even though things weren't perfect, the room felt modern and nice.

The room looks upscale, the bed is comfortable, and the ac works perfectly. The door was difficult to close, the water in the sink was colored at first maybe they turned the water off for repairs and the sediment came out. The tub stopper did not function well to keep the water from draining.
