We stayed here during golden week, which is always more expensive! But when we came to check out the price that we had been quoted was per person not per person? We thought we were paying a little over the odds because of the bank holiday, but in fact, we spent a small fortune. But food was included, and dinner was ok pretty standard every night grilled fish and rice and 10 little dishes and pickles typical Japanese, not too bad, quite nice to dine with other guests and experience Japanese dinnertime. Breakfast was only Japanese I cant quite get nato and pickled fish early in the morning so I ate hardly any, but thats my fault, I suppose, bit upset there wasnt even any coffee or juice to be had though very limited choice. The room was very rundown. I got the whole impression that the hotel was great until about a year ago, but it hasnt made any investment since. The balcony paint was just peeling off and the furniture was rusty. Service was also not good. We went to check out just before 2 other families but were pushed aside and the Japanese families dealt with first before coming back to us ok we only speak a basic bit of Japanese and the process was likely to take longer but there were no apologies for asking us to wait. Overall, we had a good time with salami but just felt the hotel

This is the best place to stay if you love salami! The host tsuyosa was excellent, he was incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and pleasant. He quickly got us checked into our room and used a proficient voice translator to make sure we were conversing. His employees were welcoming, and they even offer a complimentary shuttle service to a variety of islands beaches. You can get up-to-date fishing gear, fresh cooked food for an additional $9.00, and bikes and automobiles for an additional $9.00. It was both financially and fun to drive around the island when we rented a car from him once. The apartments and furniture were tidy and comfy, and the neighborhood was quiet at night. The port, eateries, and grocery store are all within easy walking distance. I wholeheartedly advise staying here for peace of mind and comfort.

This hotel is adequate if you have fewer lodging options because your booking is late like us. Despite the poor evaluations, I reserved shirahama since there were still very few choices for our august vacation. The rooms were inadequate, the decor is old, the carpet is filthy, and our air conditioning only had 1 fan functioning. Breakfast and supper were both included in our reservation. Although the food was tasty, be prepared for specific meal times. Breakfast was strictly Japanese, so we would stop by a charming cafe down the street that served excellent service and delectable coffee after spending it at the hotel because it was typical Japanese food for breakfast.
