What makes Moss very unique is it's right in the heart of Salamanca. Everything is done with a degree of sophistication and quality, from the decor to the little touches such as the products used in the bathrooms. I can highly recommend staying here. On our first journey to the heart, we spent a few nights at Movenpick. Friendly and efficient check-in was made. The hotels are elegant and modern, which is a wonderful change for Australian hotels. The Salamanca bars and restaurants are within walking distance and the location is excellent. The daily chocolate hour was a nice touch, which we enjoyed in the afternoon before leaving. On a Friday afternoon, my husband and I were placed in the heart two days earlier than we anticipated. We arrived at ya from Sunday but needed two last-minute actors to appear. We came across this location and decided to try it out because other hotels were charging $400 per night. A queen room in the area would cost about $3 per night, which was quite affordable. The room appeared clean, the bed was comfy, and we hired towels for $2 per towel because we didn't have our own, which was convenient, but that's about how it ends. The restrooms have just undergone renovations, but you must wait nearly 10 minutes with the water flowing before the hot water starts to turn on. It seems silly there are signs saying to conserve water and take quick showers when the hot water starts so long to go in. The space has a really strange vibe. It's like a rabbit warren with bizarrely long corridors. Although I didn't utilize the kitchen supplies, they seemed worn out and awful. We were on the top floor and all night we could hear the hot water systems rattling outside our windows. I wouldn't have remained there as a single woman or with friends if I weren't with my husband. While fulltime males are supposedly harmless, they smoke behind the back door, which is a little off-putting. We wouldn't have remained4,2/512 Jul 2023

In the off-peak month of June, I stayed at the Imperial, and it felt incredibly depressing. It is a large area, which can be especially out of character when it isn't busy with visitors. My bed was cozy, and my room appeared to be quite tidy. However, I observed my door handle twist as if someone was trying to open it on my first night there. I had a little fear following that. I did feel concerned about the security. Although occasionally appeared to want to be somewhere else, the man at the front desk spoke nice, warm, and helpful. I think this place would feel a little more tranquil during peak hours, but as a solo traveler, I did feel uneasy at times, and it gave off an eerie, dark atmosphere, sorry. The location is close to many food venues and markets on a short walk, however in the evening, there is free parking on-site. The room is a decent size, with plenty of seating options and a cozy bed. The bathroom also has a lot of bench space. It is a little antiquated and deemed to be standard, but it's nonetheless comfy. The property staff was helpful, the checkout process included simple after-hours check-out, and it was a good value for the money.4,6/523 Mar 2023

I had a wonderful stay at Movenpick Heart, and I'll definitely be back! I was very greeted at check-in. I was given the option of waiting and checking out later and then getting my assigned room on a high level, or checking out immediately to another room because I had arrived early in the morning. I chose to wait and left my luggage at the hotel and went out to look around. I also returned in the afternoon checking time rp and entered a clean and comfortable room with the greatest harbor views. The hotel is in a fantastic position, directly across from the Elisabeth Street mall and a short stroll from the waterway. The modern rooms are furnished with a small fridge and a self-adjusting, quiet air conditioner, which is really important to me! Well, one of the days there was an issue with the ac, but the staff resolved it in 30 minutes. Just happened that I could see both the full moon and the sunrise straight from my comfortable, firm bed! It was pretty incredible and I guess it was a little lucky. I had to attend a few online calls while I was there, and the internet worked flawlessly, even with the camera turned on. The hotel gym is tiny but reasonably functional and well equipped. This will be our first call if we come back in the heart. It is beautifully furnished apartment 4. Close to great affordable cafes and restaurants with some nice touches that make a difference. If you intend to stay in a small room for a while, this is a good place to stay. This inexpensive motel in an old structure offers modestly priced accommodations that are close to the city and Salamanca as well as two major supermarkets and numerous eateries just along sandy bay road. It is clearly advertised, and the advantages include the excellent quality linen, a hot shower, ample extra pillows, comfortable beds, a calm space, and parking. South of the city's core. Our request for a light bulb to be replaced was unsatisfactory, but the receptionist was unable to give us a response. The heater plug was extremely welcome. It's not so good, the carpet on the stairs is worn out and a safety hazard. Our room appeared to be underperforming because there were no lights and tiled shower tiles, which allowed water to flow across the floor.4,6/515 Feb 2023

Very welcoming place to stay, my room was very clean, bed extremely comfortable, bathroom spotless, and a view you could stare at for hours on end. A convenience grocery store is only 50 meters up the road and a laundromat downstairs if necessary. It's a bit of a walk to heart cod, but if you enjoy walking, it's not too bad. This hotel also seemed to be located in a quiet part of town.
