This was a cheap but affordable hotel. The ibis born is close to the center. There are amenities close to us, such as discount supermarkets, restaurants, and even bakeries where you can have breakfast. The room size was smaller than the one we had before in the ibis cheap rooms. If it wasn't near to the center, it would be an ibis rather than an ibis. Another drawback is that the hygiene regulations for covid 19 required that our room be cleaned before checking out and after. No hotel staff made it during our stay. I'm not sure if the legislation was imposed by the hotel or the authorities. I would suggest adding curtains or blinds to the bathroom window to this hotel's improvements. But none of this preventing us from enjoying our vacation. So, I would ibis undoubtedly stay at this place again. Thank you!.

I spent four nights at the handler on a recent work trip. It is a welcoming space and has a wonderfully retro atmosphere. My room 212 was quite large and functional. It had a desk where we could work, and the internet connection was straightforward. The bed was rather spartan and narrow in one corner, which is typical of many European hotels. The carpet was a little worn out. The foyer has a beautiful design and has a spiral staircase to the top. There are also all the photographs of the west German presidents and presidents, and the Olaf school hasn't yet made it, which is interesting historical reading I didn't remember Willy Brandt serving for five years in 1969-1984. Breakfast was fantastic, especially for us northerners who prefer a hearty, hearty breakfast with bread, cheeses, and cold cuts. Although I didn't try the latter, there is a lovely bar and a restaurant nearby. In addition, there are no restaurants or bars within the hotel's immediate neighborhood, which is close to the university. Three of the evenings, I made the quick 20-minute walk to the old town. In contrast, my meetings, on the other hand, were with German institutions and the un, which were a 20-minute walk in the opposite direction. We chose this location because our family of four wanted to experience a unique castle overnight while traveling in Europe over spring break. It was initially challenging to book due to a language issue and the lack of an online reservation process, but we eventually resolved it, and the overall experience there was fantastic! After checking in, we were given a tour of the castle by the proprietor, and he even personally translated the menu for us at dinner, which was an incredible experience in and of itself! As we were there on a Thursday night, the rooms were largely empty and informed that it is most used by companies or for conferences and is typically busier on weekends. Breakfast choices were plentiful and filling for just 8 euros per person, and the beds were clean and cozy. When we needed to enter town, taxi service was swift, and the closest railway stop is only a short walk away. Overall, we strongly suggest this if you're looking for a unique castle experience at affordable costs.

We spent 3 nights here. The room was neatly furnished, spotless, and a reasonable size. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, right outside the city center. Although we didn't try the food, there are several bakery close by. We had a good time and hope to come back when the next time.

I really enjoy my stay here. This place is a great place to go when you want to relax and have some privacy with your partner. I recommend this place as well. The hotel is very well equipped, the staff is very professional and the rooms are very nice and modern. The decoration here is also very modern and attractive.

Overall, it's a good choice if you're not picky, such as from the UK. Good accommodation and a tasty breakfast are available for a reasonable rate. The hotel is not in the top part of Borntannenbusch, so be careful while running around. It is close to the Tannerbusch Mite metro stop, and has an excellent connection to the city center and Köln. However, there are no dining options around the hotel. Wifi is free once you ask for a voucher at the front desk. It is quite slow.

Hotel is nice, nice setting, and very nice rooms. The wifi in the rooms is not working as efficiently and ineffectively as the internet. The hot breakfast is at best lukewarm. The restaurant is excellent. The bar is not open but there is one there, so the atmosphere is calm and clean. The staff are friendly.

It's a great location to stay on a long journey. The rooms have small kitchens and the location is good. I stayed at this hotel for 2 months, and there was COVID 19 of them. Thanks to the great hotel staff.

We frequently ventured here to locate a safe and peaceful destination, and we discovered the owner to be eccentric and really cool. He welcomed our taxi, checked us in, showed us around our room, which was an entire tower part, welcomed us for dinner, was there for breakfast, and also checked us out the first time. We repeated our visits and treated this as our own private castle. The nearby hills and woods are pleasant to stroll through and are incredibly private. We were surprised to discover that the only other patron there at the beginning hour was an American living just 5 miles away at home, who lived just 5 miles away. After that, europeans eventually filled the eatery at a more respectable 9 a.m. dinner hour. From here, you can visit born, the university of born, walk along the shine, and tour other castles.

The basic hotel is not for a prolonged stay. It is not near metro stations, but the public bus service is excellent and buses pass in front of the hotel. The location is excellent, with several restaurants and entertainment possibilities close by. The place is pretty close to the University of Born. It is a simple hotel with few amenities, such as a bar and a buffet breakfast.

We came here knowing the standards of motel one and were not disappointed. The location is excellent right next to a bus and metro hub, prices are very reasonable, staff are very friendly and the rooms are in excellent condition.

We enjoyed our walk to the river embankment and explore the nearby parks. This hotel had an atmosphere that reminded us of time travel to the time when Germany was in reunification talks. Marble and gold in the 1980 s were shabby and opulent. With images of past leaders, it was opulent and beautiful. It felt more like a time travel to a hotel that had just been constructed and furnished in the 1980 s and allowed to deteriorate, and it genuinely felt like time travel to a newly built 1980 s hotel! A fourposter bed and a tranquil view of a wellkept garden. Kind staff and nothing too much trouble.

This hotel was converted as part of our journey down the river. The service was amazing. The hotel is older but clean. If you want to experience the most modern castle, this is not it. If you are searching for something that is family owned, older but clean, and off the usual routine, you will find it. I've never heard the sounds someone else mentioned. And as others have said, since the main castle is only used for conferences upon arrival, it will look closed. Follow the reception signs, pass the gates, and drive through. Breakfast was wonderful. Overall a wonderful experience.

This hotel is located near Bornhuf central station. This makes the connectivity factor strong, as well as access to some food chains around Bornhuf and some premium shopping arcades. When it comes to hospitality, the staff is really humble and professional. I am happy to be greeted by Mathew, who took care of my reservation and everything I needed. Breakfast is continental and offers a wide variety of options to choose from, creating a delicate balance between taste and health. The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable from a ventilation, air conditioning, and lighting standpoint. Although it's in the center, I can say that because the windows are of excellent quality, it is very quiet. It's 100% possible to get a good night's sleep. The room is not too small, and the bed is quite comfortable. The absence of a refrigerator in the room frustrates me! The air conditioning works well, with easy access to the window for fresh air as well as a completely switched off. The breakfast is not unique, but it is adequate.

It is a small and very new hotel with rooms on the first floor above the restaurant with no noisy voices. The rooms are clean and well equipped despite being a bit small. The bathroom is big enough with a quality shower. Breakfast in the restaurant is not a buffet, but with a rich selection and fast and fast and good service. Excellent price/quality ratio.

The hotel is located in a peaceful forest district, twenty minutes from the city center. The bus stop runs every 30 minutes, even on weekends. We travelled with a group of 8 people, and there were several rooms available, including junior suites, single rooms, and standardrooms. The suites were nicely equipped, with a sizable restroom and salon. However, only the salon was in the bedroom in one suite, while the other had two. Although the hotel tablet stated that all rooms were furnished with a complimentary coffee and tea bar, only the suites, as described by the front desk, had one. False advertising and the solution offered by the front desk was to ask for hot water from the hotel bar, which by the way was closed on friday evening and reserved for a private party on Saturday. Inadmisible all paying hotel guests should have access to the displayed amenities. The basilica hotel restaurant is another one in the books. The most of us left the table hungry, but its not surprising when there are only three baby potatoes cut in half, cut in half to make your plate appear full. On the plus side, the brunch buffet was very good. The fact that none of the five rooms weve stayed in had hot water in the shower or bathroom, which was at best lukewarm in the morning or evening, is incomprehensible. Also dont count on the WiFi as

It was our first visit to the Forint Venezberg, a very nice hotel serving well-kept meals in a nice forest environment outside of town. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the food is quite good. The restaurant serves a perfect ok breakfast, the terrace is good in nice weather, and the dinners are relatively light. However, this is a really unacceptable situation that makes us very unlikely to go back. This hotel charges 12 euros per night to park in an open-air parking lot out of town in the middle of the forest. Why? Who knows. It's absurd and I can't envision anything else. It's pure greed or tricking the guests in, it's simply selfishness.

We were pleased with the room and staff, but were really surprised as we were offered to pay 40 euros only for parking, as it was indicated nowhere. The breakfast was nothing special but okay. The water in the bathroom was not as hot as expected, only a bit warm.

Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel, the staff was kind, and they served us a tasty breakfast. We just needed a parking spot that was not available, so we had to choose another place that was more expensive.
