Walkable distance from Shizuoka station. There's pillow bar at the reception, first come first serve, which I didn't manage it at 8pm check in. Breakfast was good, with quite a lot of choices.

I sometimes stay here because we have a factory in town. The hotel is comfortable. The rooms are a little small by western standards but normal for Japan and comfortable. I once had a problem with the air conditioner I struggle with heathumidity. It was dealt with quickly and professionally. When they couldn't get it working immediately they moved me straight to a room with ice cold air conditioning. Good customer service, I thought. If the problem cannot be solved immediately, making the customer comfortable seems to be the priority. The area is pleasant and what youd expect a Japanese fishing port to be. But, there may not be enough to keep tourists entertained for more than 3 or 4 days.

In Shizuko, I couldn't have made a better decision. I want to first thank the entire hotel reception staff. Kanashimi, in particular, offered excellent recommendations for nearby authentic Japanese restaurants and tourist spots. They were always extremely helpful and kind! The hotel is wellequipped with all the necessary amenities as well as a free cell phone to use during your visit. It is quite tidy and comfortable. The hotel's proximity to the main train-subway station is very convenient!.

The hotel is in a former shogunyoshino toranaga villa. The garden is well-kept, and the restaurant, kimono, serves highquality traditional Japanese tea and dinner kiseki. Hikari super express trains take you from Tokyo to Shizuko in about an hour, and this location is well worth visiting. If you have enough time, you can stop by the dakara castle on your way from Tokyo.

They cleaned the room every day. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff spoke English so the transaction was easy. It is in the city so everything is accessible.

There are numerous pros and cons to the old hotel with two buildings. The old one has old rooms and a very small bathroom with a significant step at the door. The personnel is cordial and effective. It has a lake view and rooms with breathtaking lake views. With numerous menus for breakfast and supper, the food is excellent. A nice bath walk with a few free foot onset boxsprings is located on the lake. The hotel offers terrific onset spectacles for both men and women. The spacious hall consists of several indoor and outdoor pools with one outdoor pools at various times. The second onset is a jacuzzi-style pool. Checking and check-out are quick.

The nearest station has plenty of restaurants and stores, including Walmart, a bakery, a 100 yen store, a department store with a good food hall, and a pharmacy. This modern hotel is conveniently situated only a fiveminute walk from the station. We stayed in a twin nonsmoking room that was pleasant, quiet, and quite spacious compared to other hotels weve used in Japan. It was spotless and organized. The desk personnel was welcoming and gave an easy checkin. The bathroom had a large selection of toiletries, and free bath salts were available at the front desk. A microwave and a water cooler were also present in the front foyer. On some floors, there were vending machines, laundry services, and a 711 store at the hotel entrance. Breakfast wasnt the best weve ever had, but it was decent and included western and Japanese food. There were several different green teas to choose from, as well as a coffee maker to make your own drinks because it is a tea growing area.

Overall, I can recommend this hotel and would stay there again! The hotel is conveniently located and near stores, restaurants, and beer bars. Shizuko station is about 5 minutes on foot, most of it underground, which is useful in the rain. There is also a laundry that we were pleased to use. It was the biggest room we have ever stayed in Japan. Although the room is dusty, it wasn't too bad as we were there during typhoon Alaibi, so we had to stay a little longer, which was very convenient. The personnel was really helpful, despite the language barrier. It's also great to have a good variety of international and Japanese meals.

Nice hotel near the or station and all the activities in the downtown area. The main entrance was rather small for such a large hotel, I overshot it the first time around. Also the lobby was fairly small. Overall, the hotel was fine. My room had an amazing view of the garden. The neighbourhood was packed with restaurants, bars and shops such as Don Quixote just around the corner.

The hotel is easily accessible. Shizuko station is only a 5 minute walk away, and the first floor has a 711. I made a reservation for the smoking room because the non-smoking rooms were booked out. Therefore, I reserved a smoking room. Because the hotel was full, hotel personnel were unable to change rooms for us. The deluxe room is lovely. With a comfy bed, but it is a smoking room. Therefore, the room smells terrible to a non-smoker the moment I step in the aircorn. I tried to use the air refresher and spray, but it did not help. The air conditioning machine is present in the room, but it is ineffective. Overall, the room is tidy and roomy, and the bed is quite comfortable. Through this stay, I promised myself that I would never reserve a smoking room again.. It smells awfully foul.
