beautiful hotel in volendam, nice view. but the bus stop is a bit far , stop at volendam centrum then walk . but i love the view & service! nice surroundings so peaceful

Although this hotel is isolated from the two nearby towns, there is bus service that goes right outside the hotel and they also have bike rentals. I recommend you reserve ahead. Bus 316 runs right from Ams central station, which is very convenient. Volendam and Monnickendam are nice little villages with a lot of biking nearby. Van der talks always has a great large breakfast buffet. Sauna and pool are nice.

This hotel is great if you want to avoid the crowds and have a fast connection to the center. 20 minutes by bus every 20 minutes plus hourly night buses after midnight. Breakfast is fantastic and delicious with a wide variety of food and great coffee.

Very good location, clean and looks like just refurbished rooms. I also got a good breakfast from the welcoming owner. The location is good. I stayed here on a Monday and would have enjoyed eating here as well. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and has the tie.

This place was located just outside the town of Volendam, just a few minutes' drive from the hotel. The location is good for touring the villages of Monnickendam and the broke in desert. The room is spacious and a luxury twin but if you stay on the first floor, the balcony might be a bit annoying with an obstruction and not isolated. There is a photograph attached. The room is clean and the breakfast is excellent. The staff are very friendly. I don't like the sink and the faucet in the bathroom. It's very uncomfortable. I checked some tourists' photos of other rooms, and we noticed several fixtures, so improving the sink would be more useful. There is a business center computer and printer for personal use.

It would be helpful to have a place to put shampoo, soap, etc. in the shower. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quiet but small. No closet. Breakfast was fantastic! The woman who prepared breakfast was friendly, helpful, and warm. Nice selection of food, all fresh and delicious. It felt strange that there was no interaction with a guest before breakfast. More clarity may be provided about where to park, but free overnight parking is available, which is a plus. A bathroom bath is better than a tube of soap, which is a hassle for handwashing.

The location of this hotel is close to the pool and parking lot as well as the pool and bar but still in a clean condition even though the breakfast was okay and the room type was very big with bathroom. And then the friendliness and help during the reception desk was very good.

The hotel is only an hour and a half from the ferry. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful for checkin and query. The room had a fridge. My only complaint was that there was a coffee maker and not a kettle. We brought our own tea bags and mugs, so the water had to be hotter for a decent cup of tea. The location is excellent and quiet. A short drive to Volendam Harbor, which has many great fish restaurants. There are many things to see and do in the area.
