My friend and I were visiting Katoomba for 2 days. We stayed at Echo point motel for a night. It was everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, cheap and a great location. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The receptionist understood us having to leave early because of Tropical Cyclone Albert a shame expedia would mot help us with a credit as we had to leave after 1 night of our 3 night stay. This was an act of God

Great location to walk to the lookout of the Three Sisters and only an easy 20min walk into town. The Motel has been nicely renovated and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that I missed was sheer curtains so we could open the block out blinds and still have some privacy. However, we enjoyed our stay and will consider coming back.

We booked so we could go on the Grand Cliff Walk from Wentworth Falls to Scenic World. We chose here because it's not far off the track in case we needed to go take a break. However, the weekend was the worst weather, so we didn't end up going. But still, we had a great weekend away in Katoomba, and our room was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean, very quiet (no noise from the carpark or from neighbours). Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back here again.

Did not get the city view that was advertised on the hotels.com site. Jack the receptionist said that they do not have an upgraded room with a city view at all, which is falls advertising. Found a fly with maggots on my bed, on my first night, so requested to be transferred to another room which was granted and the receptionist gave the key without a word. The room I was transferred to, was more spacious and the shower drainage did not smell unlike the initial room. Overall the rest of my stay was pretty good minus the initial hiccups. Motel is minutes from the 3 sisters, bus stop right in front of the motel and hand made choc shop just around the corner.

Amazing staff, great location, love that the bathroom and everything was renovated. Wish the pillows weren’t as flat and the room did have a very funky smell on the first night, but after asking for room spray it was okay.
