Beautiful peaceful property in the rolling hills near Denmark. Nice place for a quiet glass of wine. Very nice selection of wines available for tasting. Very delicate flavours from white sparkling to raising, white blends and very pleasant soft reds, and well priced if you want to buy at the cellar door. Tapas menu offers some tasty treats for a leisurely lunch on the verandah or by the fire if it's cold.

We will return soon! What a beautiful location this is, and the friendliness is incredible. We only just got to write this review for the Christmas vacation, so we stayed there. Giorgiovanni and his wife were outstanding hosts. The grounds and rooms we stayed in were of very high quality and kept immaculately tidy each day. The wines they provide are truly fantastic, well worth trying their premium range. The tapas cuisine they provide is also excellent, especially their unique bruschetta, which is the best I have ever had. They went above and beyond, giving us Italian coffee every day when the shops were closed, and even giving us a homemade loaf of bread for Christmas Day when we discovered the bakery and all bread stores were closed. I cannot express how loving this establishment and the proprietors make to treat us.

Very beautiful vista, vino, service, and hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Castillo wines. So glad we stopped by to enjoy a glass of free champagne while looking over the vineyard and wide views of the mountains. The food smelled delicious and we are looking forward to coming back for a meal. Many thanks for the warm hospitality.

We will certainly return to Castillo in the near future. Giovanni and his wife went above and beyond in their service to us. We had a wonderful time at the Castillo estate the views were spectacular and so was the accommodation. The rooms were nice and clean and the back door opened to the vineyard.
