This hotel was incredibly fantastic, but customer service needs improvement. The room is well-appointed, has enough space, and has ample storage space. The shower was lovely, and the water pressure was good. The bed was very comfy, not typical of China, where beds tend to be very firm. Soundproofing was good. The lobby was opulent. Breakfast was adequate and included in our cost. The personnel practically never speaks English, making communication difficult for non-Chinese speakers. Additionally, there was a light bulb in the restroom that wouldn't turn off. I requested a service technician to come to fix it, but he kept recommending that I just pop the card out and speak without the air conditioner, he wouldn't take the bulb out. I ultimately slumber with the light on.

I like the great hotel, the room and the service. I got the breakfast that's fantastic, and because it's already open at 6, it is very convenient. Nice area, close to great restaurants, bars, and Starbucks. Unfortunately, there is no metro station nearby.

This is a hotel located in an alley next to the main old street in taxi, or Huangshan city. We had reserved a two-bedroom suite which consisted of just two bedrooms and a common bathroom for the two rooms. The bathroom was connected to one of the bedrooms. The mattresses were a bit hard, as are common in many hotels in China, but still soft enough for a good sleep. The bed was also long enough for me, the bed was 1.89 meters long. The air conditioning system performed well, which was always turned on when we entered the room. The bathroom has a good shower with hot water. Unfortunately, it's directly next to the bathroom, so this will get wet when showering, so planning is required. Breakfast is served in another nearby old structure, and the hotel staff will bring you there. Breakfast was tasty, baked eggs and baked pancakes with spring onions. Small banana. Delicious freshly made coffee.

This hotel is extremely difficult to find. Our driver directed us to a location on an old street, but we were unable to locate it because we had only recently stayed there before hiking Huangshan Mountain. We only found the Huangshan Old Street Inn because we were caught on the street with blonde haired women carrying luggage stopping, telling us about the hotel, until a young woman with some English told us they had reservations and led us to the hotel off a twisty narrow alley off a old street. When we pointed some people the Chinese directions of this inn, the xian wugong qinyuan inn, we were eventually able to discover its location from a different hotel. There are 3 buildings on old street, presumably, you are residing in one of them, which would explain the different hotel names and addresses on the booking site. When you are aware of where the hotel is located, the setting is excellent. The building itself was extremely ancient, with plank walls, an open courtyard, a fish pond, antiqued worn out furniture, lots of neat character, and had been updated with all the modern conveniences such as good plumbing, a comfortable shower, plenty of hot water, heating, individual room ac, combination door locks, and wifi. This place is wonderful. This place will feel like heaven if youve just made the most of your days hiking huangshan. The cost of a single night would have been over $500 in New York. We couldn't believe we were spending the night here. At the crown plaza, it's directly across the river from the square. The airport was convenient for our early-morning flight. We were given a corner room on the top floor, a penthouse opulent residence with a lovely wraparound view of the city and river. We were given a cab to the airport, which was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I. was able to order us a cab for the airport, etc. The architecture is gross. We had a corner room on the top floor, and Penthouse luxury flats with stunning wraparound views of the city and river. Wonderful bed with beautiful linens and abundant pillows. Wonderfully furnished in every way. Huge Flyscreen to. Free WiFi router a man as soon as we called. Rain shower with a view. Isoothing room lighting. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a huge variety, including Western and Chinese varieties. To sleep, we were ecstatic. The beers were chilly, and room service was quick and delicious. This hotel is medium-sized. The hotel's hardware and furnishings are both incredibly sophisticated and simple. From a high angle, you can see the city and nearby river through their bullet elevator. We had a modest twin room, which was sufficient for a brief stay. The restroom was a sufficient size. However, I believe it would be a good idea to have some sort of sliding door built between the bathroom and the sleeping area so that guests who don't get accustomed to showing their naked bodies before and after their showers could have some protection. The small mirror had some makeup finger prints, indicating that the cleaning was not really thorough. There was less than one third of tissue paper left on the tissue roll, and there was no spare one in the toilet. The beds were comfy. No password was required, the wifi in our room was working correctly. The bus station and the old taxiway are both within a 10-minute taxi ride from the hotel. Since taxi drivers do not charge by the meter, it is advisable to negotiate for a reasonable cost before jumping on a taxi. The Chinese breakfast was good. The personnel we encountered were courteous, effective, and helpful.

This hotel is in a good location for restaurants, good buffet dinner and breakfast, and the rooms are good, I absolutely recommend this hotel. The facilities here are of very good quality, and this hotel is in good condition at a good price.

This is by far the best hotel I have been to in China. It's a cozy, quiet, and clean place. The building is over 150 years old, but the bathroom is brand new, has a very nice shower, good air conditioning, and a very good bed and linen. The owner picked me up at the airport free of charge and his wife took me out to town to buy some of the things I needed. The staff speaks English and goes out of their way to help the guests.

The hotel's proprietor was fantastic. He organised a private car for us to accompany us on a tour and assisted us in obtaining theater tickets. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this location for its location. Numerous stores and several eateries close by. Stayed here for two nights. Although it is, as many other guests have pointed out, the most centrally located place to find it, it is difficult to find. If you are coming from Shanghai, the hotel sets up a one-way pick-up from the train station. However, since we traveled by bus from Huangshan, we had to determine our way. Getting to the old highway is not difficult. We began looking for 142 because the address indicated old street. The store, which was not a hotel but a food market. Ask around but no one seems to know where. They came around to help us when we contacted the hotel. Essentially, there is a very little avenue right next to the shop 142, and you must walk through it to locate the receptionist. You, too, may simply mistake it as we did. Anyway, we had a room. A little tiny but tidy. Chinese wooden bed, very hard for my taste.

Overall, this hotel offers excellent value. I would not be surprised if the price slowly increases as the positive reviews grow. This hotel is undoubtedly one of the best after having stayed in numerous hotels in China for a comparable price. The hotel is contemporary, and the accommodations were really cool and spacious. We specifically requested a bath tub-equipped room facing the river. The superior room cost only a few pounds more than the regular room. The only reason I have not given a five-star rating is that the western breakfast selection might be improved, I had noodles for breakfast and because the staff lacked basic English communication skills. However, one girl with Kate on her badge used an app on her phone to converse with us, which ended up working. Taxis are so affordable that getting to the center takes about 7 hours. We took a local bus to get to the mountain, which was an incredible bargain at only 20 per person.

I received a very nice upgrade to a sizable vip room. They're very accommodating. They served delicious breakfast. The only problem is that the hotel is a bit old. It was very uncomfortable to see the terrible slums outside our luxurious vip room.

After spending a few days closer to Huangshan mountain, I stayed here for one night. The receptionists are limited in English, but did the duty manager, David? Was extremely helpful. He recommended a day trip to Dongjun Ancient Village, offered us great advice and directions, and was very friendly. Both the bedroom and bathroom are nice in size, clean and have contemporary furnishings and fixtures. For your room, ask for a wifi router from reception. River access is close by. Old street taxis or 30 yuan taxi rides are both 30 minutes far away. Without a doubt, I will suggest this to others.

This time was my second stay at Crown Plaza Herei. The room was nice and functional, but I didn't order a suite. There are several western options available. Breakfast is very good. I usually don't like French toast, but I can say that this morning I cabbed on four pieces.
