The hotel is neat and up to holiday inn standards. Even though we had traveled 20 hours from the uk, we didn't take a meal or see a bar. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they spoke English well. Avoid taxis selling themselves in the hotel parking lot. We were picked up by a woman taxi driver, who had a half red taxi of a different company that had a different color and was the one who apparently ran her meters from the airport. It cost 90 Yuan per mile, or tops. It cost us hell on us, she broke us. If you hail cabs on the street, we chose to ride them. They need more time to think. It's obvious that the meters are charging what you pay on the market and should only wait if the concierge has spotted this strong lady. Beware, most taxis are honest, but beware of the woman in the half red on the nightly hotel drop-off after the airport. In the hotel, Aircorn worked well, with a good view, etc. It's a 20-minute walk to the shops, such as Tesco Karstadt, etc.
