This hotel was a perfect little retreat in Manuel Antonio. It is not a luxury resort, but it met our needs and exceeded our expectations. Our room was very clean - AC and hot water were working great! We loved seeing monkeys playing in the trees right outside our room. The balcony was a wonderful place to sit and relax. The pool was a delightful way to cool off, and we loved having the bar right there to make drinks and fruit smoothies. We stayed in the Suite which was adequate space for our family of 5. We loved having a kitchen and our own little balcony space. This room is next to the road, so the cars could be a bit loud, but it wasn't a big deal - early each morning we were woken up by tons of monkeys jumping on the roof (part of the experience)! One note for those considering booking the suite - there is only one full bathroom and the other is just a toilet/sink, this was fine but a consideration if you have teenage daughters who take their sweet time getting ready :-) Overall, it was a great little place and we would go back. We loved walking to the beach, local restaurants and Manuel Antonio. We had a car, and the hotel had parking right on site.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The restaurant and pool area was perfect for our family. Our kids could swim while we waited for meals. The food was great and they even had some local IPAs at the bar. The room was clean and had everything we needed: a mini fridge, coffee maker and shampoo! It is about a 4 minute walk to the beach, which allowed us to go back and forth to the room throughout the day so we didn’t have to bring all our belongings with us to the beach. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach as I heard parking can be a pain. The parking at the hotel was easy and on site. The beach was stunning! We had a very good time during our stay.

Amazing location very close to the beach and park! We saw monkeys most mornings at the restaurant by the pool. Beautiful rainforest location. Breakfasts were good. The food was good and everyone was friendly. I would stay here again. I prefer to be near the park in the beach, it did require a taxi or Uber to hit the finer restaurants in town. Everything was clean, the cleaning people were quick and friendly. No complaints.

Jungle Beach Hotel – Manuel Antonio Great value and perfect location! The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, which makes life easy after a beach day. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Manuel Antonio National Park—honestly easier than trying to drive and deal with the parking circus. The beach is right across the street, and for $20 you can rent an umbrella and chairs for the whole day. There’s even a beach bar with good food and drinks, so you can park yourself there and call it a day. Some of our favorite nearby restaurants were Samui Thai, Clara Qui Si, and the little local spot Dónde Alex, Overall, an awesome place for the price—comfortable, convenient, and full of charm. Would absolutely stay again.

When we pulled up to the Jungle Beach Hotel we found a charming hotel carved into the jungle We awoke to howler monkeys in the trees and watched deer and capuchin monkeys from the pool and outdoor dining area. Truly Costa Rican Magic!

Very unique property near Manuel Antonio National Park and restaurants. Awesome pool deck backing to a forest full of monkeys. Very nice and responsive staff. Recommended.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are decent but no hot water. Close to the beach shopping bars and restaurants with easy transportation into town if you so desire. Restaurant and pool area is nice and monkeys come to visit. You also hear them howling in the morning lol

All the staff were extremely helpful with suggestions and tips. Carried luggage up the stairs without even asking. Outdoor dining and bar area very nice. You feel like you're in a jungle. Keep in mind you'll be visited by up to 3 different monkey spcies at breakfast - very cool. Nice beach across the highway with an 8 min. walk.
