Overall, good and in a wonderful area, but probably wouldn't return. As part of a motorcycle trip to the alpine, I stayed here with a friend for one night, sharing a room with each of us. The rest of the hotel was well-decorated and spotless. The shower did not have a soap or shampoo, so remember to pack some. However, the outside sat a little decrepit, and they do not believe in using the internet or a service. Although there was a sizable parking space, they provided free parking for bikes in a covered area. The proprietors are polite, accommodating, and fluent in English. The included breakfast was tasty and generous, but boiled eggs had been out the night before. We chose the half pension, and the meal at their restaurant was pleasant and reasonably priced.

We stayed here with another family for a short ski vacation. There were 6 young children overall and we couldn't have found a more relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming place. The proprietor spoke good English and was friendly and easygoing especially with the children. There is also a playroom, so the kids can keep amused after their meal. The lodging was clean and comfortable and the food was great. The location was perfect especially for the cross-country and learning slopes. We will surely return!.

The pros of the hotel are varied basic but includes everything you need. It was a 5 minute drive from La Bressehohneck and it was near another ski resort where we primarily saw crosscountry skiers. The weekend was lowbrow, with few slopes open so we could not judge the skiinskiout part. The hotel was close to a forest with a walking trail and a lake. It was nice to walk in nature. The room was spacious and clean. There was free parking on the premises. The hosts were friendly and we would return. Even though it wasnt the most comfortable bed, it is good for a weekend at that price, which was 45 per night then. We had one and it had all the usual french channels, which was perfect for us. The cons The heat would turn off in the middle of the night, so the room would get a little cool. Then it would turn on again around 8 or so. I didn't mind so much that it was turned off, but it would have been better to have been turned on around 6 am to avoid getting a cold room. The bed was not very comfortable, but ok and small. But the price reflects this, so you get what you pay for. There is wifi available around the clock in 2020, no matter the price. Apart from these things, it's still fine for about a weekend. The couple that own the submerge are very friendly, you can ask them anything you need. Breakfast is included, thats it. Close by is dispatch lake, start the trail from there and cross the mountain to get to the longer lake, passing by a very good viewpoint.
