When passing through Lyon, we stayed there. It's a lovely home surrounded by a lovely garden. During your stay, you'll have excellent surveillance parking inside the estate walls. Unfortunately, the estate lies between a popular local road and a highway. While there isn't much noise, it made us feel surrounded by traffic. The staff was helpful but not especially welcoming. The lady at reception complained over her work with her peers loudly, and people sat there smoking all around. The room was nice but a little small. The bathroom was spacious, but the shower was not spotless. Fresh juices and a decent selection of delicious food were a joy to have for breakfast.

On our way back from vacation, my wife and I stayed one night, driving back to the United States. It is conveniently situated not far from the exit of the motorway. Parking was safe and secure with charging for my electric car. We were in a heatwave, and the room was air-conditioned, cool, and spotless with all the necessary facilities. The staff was really kind and accommodating. We had breakfast and dinner. The cuisine, especially the meal, was excellent. We will undoubtedly stay at Maison Danthouard when we return to Lyon.

This place is just off the a. We were made to feel appreciated and welcome from the minute we got there. The hotel is lovely and beautifully designed, and of course, the amazing history! We were made to feel at ease with the accommodations that we needed. The restaurants are gorgeous, the grounds are peaceful, and the next day's breakfast was as fresh as it could be. We didn't rave about Steve, and we will keep referring to them when we return someday. Beyond fantastic and perfect for a relaxing holiday after a long motorway trip! I also appreciate Scully itself.
