Accueil très agréable malgré l’arrivée tardive (plus de 20 heures). Les hôtes sont de jeunes professionnels qui ont ce métier dans la peau. Une chambre au Rez de chaussée, très bien insonorisée, très propre. Le parking est très appréciable. Le lendemain, un petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux.

The family that run the hotel operation are very nice and accommodating. Very secure parking arrangement and as close to the old city center as you can reasonably drive into.

Nathalie made us feel at home. She was very helpful when we had a problem with the booking for our next destination. The breakfast was a treat each day. Room was big with a good shower.The house is in the centre ville but we didn’t hear any noise from the outside. It as easy to get to by bus and the tourist sights were within walking distance. Thank you so much, Nathalie, for a memorable stay. Merci beaucoup.

Hyggelig personlig service. Charmerende, trygg parkering i gården. Lett tilgjengelig fra hovedveien og bare minutter unna gamlebyen. Men: skiltet som viser hotellbygningen er lite og unnselig .

Very conveniently located to central sites. Owners and dog are a plus! Good breakfast. This is an older property with second and third floor walk ups and no elevator. We ended up on the third floor, which was hard. We left most of the luggage in the car and took out what we needed every day. Parking was a bit awkward, even for France.

Accommodations were a good size for the cost. The arrangement of the toilet outside of the actual room was a little funky but that's okay. Natalie was the only one we had contact with was not well suited for dealing with people. When are traveling companion was injured on a step in the hotel Natalie was more concerned about telling her that she should have let her know that she was not going to dinner at the restaurant that Natalie made a reservation for her. You will enjoy this day here if you avoid talking to Natalie. And avoid in the waiting room on the couch that the dogs use.

Maison Douce is in a good area, nice old building, outdoor terrace breakfast. TV would not work & owner didn’t care to help. Mattress soft & B&B owner Natalie is not pleasant. She is selling the biz & doesn’t seem happy. Even the taxi drivers knew about her as a problem. New owners will be a good thing, as place is nice. Irish pub next door is a plus. RB

This accommodation should not be utilized by persons allergic to dogs or scent. Has two large dogs and heavily scents the entire property with scent infused oil. I do not have allergies but can not tolerate heavy scents. Natalie is very good at recommending good local restaurants.

The host was the most disagreeable person I've probably every met. She insulted me multiple times in front of other guests and her friend...she just treated me like crap. I will request a partial refund. Furthermore the place stank so badly of all sorts of smells but mostly gallons and gallons of horrible overpowering heavy perfume that was an assault on the senses.
