This was our first stay at this hotel and it just keeps getting better and better every time. Lovely clean, modern rooms with everything you need when traveling. It's close to the city center and there are several great pubs just walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel is always tasty and wide.

This is my second stay, last time, I was kept up by numerous police and fire sirens. This time I had a good sleep, a lovely room, a good breakfast, and an underground garage to park my motorcycle. Hamburg is a lovely town, and the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the historic center.

The location is near the old town center, and I was shocked and disappointed. This hotel has very clean rooms with nice amenities and friendly staff, as well as a little parking spot but in a 5 minute walk there is free public parking. And then, the breakfast here was quite average by German standards, and then, there were so many delays and issues. After that, the staffs here were helpful. Besides that, the rooms here were large and well-furnished, then, in addition to the very good cleanliness, this place has a good cleanliness, and also has good cleanliness.

We needed a halfway stop on our way from Germany to Holland and needed a halfway stop, and Hamburg was about right. This hotel is in the city center and clean, our room was nice and the bathroom was. This part of Hamburg lacks character, but if you are only looking for a room for the night, this will suffice. It has a good restaurant, and there are many more within walking distance, I would suggest felling, an Italian restaurant just down the road. The manager sits right outside the breakfast room smoking all day while breakfast was served.

We stayed here for the night and had a clean and modern stay. Breakfast was fantastic with Mediterranean grilled vegetables and homemade cheese filled flat bread in addition to typical German breakfast fare. The hotel is just across the street from Altstadt. Very convenient.

Our fourperson group stayed here for the night during a bicycle trip. Our tower suite and double room were reserved, and we loved the room that was incredibly large, spotless, and as if it had recently undergone renovation, and with fantastic bathrooms and furnishings. Then there is more! We had a beer on the lovely terrace when we arrived. Its one of those cozy garden terraces that are not too large, and the dinner table they had set for us was lovely and intimate, a little like dining at a friends house. The threecourse meal was excellent, featuring undoubtedly fresh, local ingredients. It was a rare occurrence to taste homemade strawberry desert. When something goes wrong, a hotels characteristics become apparent. In our case, one of our group contracted sickness the day we were scheduled to visit Lodgingberg, and a lastminute alteration of our reservation was necessary. They gave it the most gracious treatment. I heartily advise this hotel.

I had dinner here last year and it was memorable. Recently I stayed here for three nights and I cannot recommend it enough. The hotel is family-run and does what they do very well and makes guests feel completely at ease. Their influence extends to all the staff who pamper you. The highlight for me was getting the owner back. He is a natural in his field.

In the old town and next to the old bridge, this hotel is in a lovely location. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the cathedral. Our room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was excellent. We ate dinner at the hotel. The card is small, but we were very pleased with our choice. We enjoyed wiener schnitzel, which we can recommend. As an appetizer, the salad and the dessert ice cubes were also good.

Its really obnoxious. We stayed there due to a wedding and the hotel arranged all of the celebrations. The breakfast was fine. The pillows are too thin and the mantras are too hard. The rest of the area seemed to have been refurbished. Beautiful large bathroom but to use toilet paper one must be very good at yoga. But there is certainly enough room for your belongings. Breakfast was adequate, the food ran out and wasn't replaced, or how long it takes to prepare scrambled eggs. Because of the large group we all slept in, I could tell that something wasn't well prepared, so we all came at the same time. The receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly. The lady at breakfast was not particularly friendly, but that was probably because everyone was asking about scrambled eggs. Wifi was free, but you had to provide a username and password every hour you wanted to go. And, of course, it was one of those terrible passwords you can't remember.

We stayed with the kids ages 6 and 4 on our journey across Europe by car for one night. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, nicely decorated and had everything you wanted. We stayed in a family room and there was plenty of toys for the children, making them feel welcome from the moment they first arrived. Also, at check-in, the children received a little surprise gift, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The hotel also had small, nice tricks, such as funny little wake-up clocks to borrow at the reception, which made the place feel cozy.

This hotel is in a strategic area. The rooms were spotless and had free WiFi. The staff were attentive to guests' requests, the room is clean and has free WiFi. The mattress was really comfortable. I will stay here again.

My room had a separate shower room, sink, and toilet in a different room. It was also really cozy, and air-conditioned. The hotel is also close to the city center, just a 10-minute walk, and easily accessible by car. The following morning, I felt totally rejuvenated and the room had an excellent continental breakfast.

We stayed here for one night on a organized coach trip. Check in was reasonably quick considering the amount of people checking in. Initial issues with room allocation were with our request for a lower floor, but this was quickly fixed by the very friendly reception staff. Our room was very clean and quite spacious, with a very comfortable bed. Shower a bit small but completely adequate. Our room didn't have a tea or coffee maker, but I believe some other rooms did. I had forgotten to take my phone charger and was kindly loaned one by reception. Breakfast was busy with 2 coaches full of people but plenty of food to go around. Food was a buffet style and beautifully presented.

As a South African who travels to Germany whenever possible, I give it my highest rating for a restaurant experience. The family who owns the hotel have made sure that the restaurant is a culinary experience with a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The icing on the cake is the constant attention you receive from the owner as well as his staff who are expert in looking after islanders.

I stay at this family run hotel once a year when traveling to germany on business. The standard has consistently been high in the past five years. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-kept. They do vary in size, but remember to check when booking! I've had anything from a compact single room with one bed to a large tower suite. Service is always friendly and efficient. Breakfast selection is excellent and included in the very reasonable room rate. The restaurant and bar are also of the highest caliber, and the outdoor beer garden is great when the weather permits. No complaints whatsoever, great German regional hospitality.

This hotel is situated at a strategic location in the old town near the river. We didn't have a balcony, but we did pay extra for a larger room with a river view. It was almost furnished about 25 years ago so the decor is a little outdated but in decent condition. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Very clean and simple. Breakfast was good but quite simple. We were told by the locals that the restaurant was excellent, but we didn't try it since it wasn't open on the night we wanted to visit. If it were in England, it would be more of a place to stay, but this is a very pleasant place to stay.

The hotel acts apotheke is directly across from the Old Town of Hamburg. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious, and comfortable, decorated with Mediterranean flair. The double bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a shower cabin and is bright and clean. Wifi was rather slow. A bottle of mineral water was in the room. No kettle is available for making tea or coffee. Breakfast didn't impress me. The selection was pretty poor. Several southern European products such as olives, mozzarella cheese, and tomatoes are available, but the buns are from the previous day. The diner we had at hotel la strata was a failure. The pizza probably came from the freezer, but not from the wood burning oven. The lasagna was far too heavy. Hamburg has a dozen italian restaurants. I will definitely choose the italian restaurant felling, which is 2 blocks behind the hotel. The backyard has an insufficient amount of parking. Other than the food, our stay was satisfactory. The price is moderately expensive.

The room was perfect and had a great view of the bridge and river. It was right on the bike path which was really good for running and access to the tourist center. The breakfast was delicious. Checking and check out were very easy.
