We stayed here with my husband's parents, my sister, and their four family. The owner and staff went above and above to ensure our vacation was pleasant. Excellent service, although I don't believe they spoke much English. Although I have enough German to speak to the restaurant waiters, they both spoke excellent English and were fantastic as well! The hotel is lovely and charming. Excellent rooms, cozy, and roomy bathrooms, but that was not a problem. Nice lakeside balcony. Lovely white tablecloth restaurant with a wonderful outdoor seating space. Great brunch and a delicious supper! Quite affordable too! Parking wasn't plentiful but was adequate for us! The ferry terminal is within easy walking distance. We were very, very pleasantly pleasantly surprised, but I wasn't expecting much from this place! I'm not rating it because it's a five-star hotel, but because it was such a fantastic experience.

We decided to stay here and thought we had reserved a room with a balcony that overlooked the lake. The application confirmation informed us we had, but when we arrived we discovered that we were in the guest house, a separate building next door but one with no private balcony but a furnished balcony on the first floor shared by all 12 rooms in the building. They explain that private balconies are only reserved to long-term visitors. Our room was on the second level at the front of the road and facing the west. It became extremely hot, had no air conditioning, and had to sleep with the windows open and deal with traffic noise and vibration. The guest house also does not have a lift. Be aware that you may start looking at the hotel page on application and during the booking process, you will be changed to the guest house page, which has similar photos and may deceive you. Having said that, our room was clean and tastefully furnished, and had clearly been renovated not long ago. The mattresses were really comfortable. The shower room in this room, although nicely furnished, was too little at 2. 0 m by 0.65 meters. Although wellappointed, the shower room not a bathroom was too small at 2. 0 m. Despite being pretty, the sliding glass door provided less privacy. We had a wonderful breakfast but wouldn't return here. Hotels in Hagnauer, which is a
