In general, a very good hotel for those who enjoy walking and can get to the restaurant as soon as it opens in the evening if on a package holiday. When in Germany on a package tour of the Black Forest, I spent five days at this hotel. It is about a half-mile from the town center and requires a slow and gentle climb from there to get there, which might be a problem for people with mobility problems even though taxis are available and the hotel operates an afternoon shuttle bus to the town center. My single room on the fourth floor was quite large compared to what is usually available to single travelers and had a lovely view of the town and surrounding pine forests. It had all the usual amenities including a large screen to, daily replenishment of kettle and teacoffee ingredients, a modern fully equipped bathroom with a shower, large closets for clothes with many hangers, and others. The typical black forest was the style of the hotel, but it was light, airy, and immaculately clean throughout. The restaurant was spacious and offered wonderful views of the surrounding forest. Breakfast was a buffet, with just about everything anyone could want. The evening meal was also buffet, and this was the only drawback unless you arrived to eat within the first hour of the restaurant opening rp, menu options soon diminished, and many of my fellow travelers had to eat what was

We stayed for 4 nights in July. We stayed in the annexe. The room was comfortable and spacious. The balcony overlooking the beautiful forest was great. Great choice for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Restaurant overlooking forest and town. The room was amazing light.

I stayed in a decent size room with a great view across the valley to town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to us from their warm greeting with welcome drink upon arrival. the perfect distance for dinner in town. Comfortable room a bit noisy if you want to leave the window open at night you can hear traffic from very early in the morning. Nice breakfast buffet to start the day.

Overall, this is a nice hotel with a welcoming and helpful staff. The food is delicious and the rooms are clean and spacious. The location is ideal for hiking in the woods and the views are breathtaking. Two things. The walls in the new section of the hotel are paper thin. We could literally hear the elderly couple speaking in low voices next door. Two words of advice dim the lights in the restaurant please. It is just not comfortable at all. We will certainly stay there again!.

To discover a busy development site when entering the hotel's front door was a little disappointing. In all of my correspondence with the motel, this was not mentioned. I would still be pleased to go there if I had been told, but after a long journey when you are a little exhausted, emotional first impressions are everything. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant and tried to explain that the on-site parking for our motorcycles was half a mile away. Now this isn't a very far distance, but I expected it to be there for you, the hotel. I did not want to walk even that far in the heat in heavy biking gear, and you should keep in mind that the hotel is on a hilly area of the town. We decided to park on the front steps, but we were still charged for the garage. We once ate at the hotel. The food was just adequate. The bread provided was a haphazard assortment. We never saw the same person at reception twice. The girl with whom we settled our bill was pleasant. Wifi was a mystery. No one at the hotel knew the code, merely reception, which ends at rp. Every other hotel I've stayed in has a note in the room, or the receptionist tells you how to use the internet when you arrive. There was no reference material in the room about
