The bed was spacious and comfy. Because jail staff rarely remembers stuff, so you must keep a journal of your bills. The room's simplicity was so basic but peaceful at night. The three brothers' homestay is still being relocated so people booked it but decided to stay here because the locals were not interested in how visitors were acting. Something unusual happens there. I would like to use this opportunity to suggest that travelers visiting this Muslim island exercise some empathy and respect for the local customs. In Indonesia, scuba diving naked on a public beach is just awful, but you are never alone! And topless sunbathing for women? I was so embarrassed to be associated with you! I'm a frequent traveler in Indonesia and the locals are very dismay at the rules' excessive conduct. So please smile, be courteous, respect the locals, and even just a little to cover ourselves up! You are very fortunate to be welcomed here. The end of the rant.

We stayed here for three nights and would have stayed longer. Great homestay, excellent food and a warm proprietor. Noodles, lobster, fish, and many more at a reasonable price. Even taken away if you go on a journey. If you purchase fish at your local fish market, they cook it for you with some rice and vegetables. We even made their calamari rice for one night. Last night, they invited us to eat corn with the local community and make a fire. Expect a local and friendly experience, not a resort.

It is a beautiful couple who own and run this place. He's from the beach but moving, and they have to move farther. Basic yet peaceful at night, the rooms are simple, and the beds are spacious and comfortable. Because jails often forget things, you must keep a tab on your own expense. Some people booked a three-brother homestay and ended up here, as it is currently being moved as well because the locals didn't like guests' behavior. There is something awry going on there. I'd like to take this opportunity to suggest travellers coming to this Muslim island practice some empathy and respect for their local culture. Foreigners swimming naked on a public beach is just awful in Indonesia. You're never alone in it, and ladies sunbathing without tops? I was so embarrassed to be associated with you! I'm a well-seasoned traveler in Indonesia, and I hear the locals utter dismay at the rules' arrogance. So.. Please smile, be polite, respect the locals, and cover ourselves up even a little bit! You're lucky to be welcomed here.

I came here to have some sea food after meeting the owner of the prison on the beach. The lobster and mixed sea food plate was delicious. I had a good time and would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for something local.
