The grounds surrounding the property are lovely, and so are the lovely surrounding rice fields. As long as you are spraying repellent, spend the night on your balcony listening to cicadas, frogs, and ducks! The walk to town is a little on the short side, but it's fine unless you find walking challenging for 10 minutes max, and despite some preferring to be nearer the action, we didn't mind walking. The rooms themselves are quite large perhaps too big, and the rooms need a little more furniture or storage, but as backpackers, we don't really unpack. The top level rooms only have a woven ceiling, so you can hear everything your neighbors do, if possible, go down the lower floor. Like many Southeast Asian locations, there are a bit of an ant problem and ghettos, which I don't mind until they stink everywhere and even then, if it's cleaned up properly, it's not a problem, I would suggest that some attention be paid to this, but at such a low price, we thought they were as tidy as we could possibly anticipate. I thought the pool could have a sunbed and be cleaner, and if it had been the case, I would have sat there, but since it was clean I believe it needs a bit of work to make it more

We had a bad experience at our previous hotel, so we decided to change hotels and found Maya Bungalow. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The shower is hot or cold, nothing in between. Great pool. Breakfast was delivered on the patio, with some fresh fruits, pancakes and coffee. It was great having breakfast enjoying the trees and birds! The place is very well located, in a peaceful and beautiful street, but 1015 min walk from monkey forest or Bud Palace.

This guest house has a very limited facility for the price. There is no air conditioner and no hot water, presumably they are supposed to have hot water but didn't when we stayed there. The place is not walking distance from the city so you need to rent a motorbike. The good thing is the clean room.

Great sleeping place for a stay in Ubud for a short stay. The living area is not big for the amount of beds, but the rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfy.
