This homestay is rustic, in my opinion. Located right on the beach, close to the speedy boat harbor and 10 minute drive. Excellent place to relax and enjoy life, simply. There is running water, air conditioning, scooter rentals, and a restaurant next door that offers affordable access to drinking water for a very affordable price. The young woman who checked us in and provided cleaning service was very friendly. This isn't for you if you don't like animals. Proceed and enjoy! If you're seeking a cheap place to crash and feel a little less like a tourist.

This place has a beautiful view because it is situated right on the shore. You can find restaurants within walking distance. There are restaurants all on the beach. I advise walking on the beach because the narrow roads and driving style there can be hazardous. The units have air conditioning, hot water pressure will vary frequently, and t. I. None of the channels were in English, though. The restroom is poorly ventilated and smells. I believe the smell is the result of the drain fumes. There is no refrigerator in the room either. The staff is extremely welcoming and organized for us a snorkeling excursion. They have a brand-new and lovely business boat, but it wasn't available the day we planned to go, so they arranged it with another captain. If desired, scooter rentals are also available. A reef about 100 yards offshore is visible from the front. At low tide, it is simple to observe and you can enter it. Just on the other side, it disappears a little deeper and attracts lovely coral and fish. Be cautious, as a very strong current spills toward the west. Stay adjacent to the reef or climb up a short walk up the beach and do a drift dive. Most boats stay away from the reef because it is shallow and has many wooden posts left behind from what I think were fish farms once. However, if snorkeling outside, be cautious of boat traffic.
