We booked for 3 nights and decided to stay for one night and moved to a larger room with a swimming pool. Overall we had a good one night stay. The owner was very nice and a nice man.

I stayed at this place and realized that my backpacking days were far behind me. The rooms are small, very noisy and very basic, but reasonably clean. There is a shared kitchen outside, with lots of local fauna crawling around. I guess if you want to survive in kuta on a budget for as long as possible, this might be for you. I decided to move out after the first night to something more comfortable. The owner was kind enough to cancel the rest of our reservation without any hassle, so 4 stars for service.

The pondok was a great place to stay. It was so wonderful that i extended my stay from a week to a month. The owner and his family are kind people. They were very helpful with everything, especially when i crashed on my motorcycle. The place is very clean, the bed is comfortable and spacious, and the wifi is great. The setup also feels very private and safe. It feels like you have your own little garden! There is also a kitchen which is very convenient a few feet away. It is in a perfect location, walking distance with amazing restaurants and warungs minutes away. Shanti yoga is a lovely yoga place, and the beach is a 20 minute walk. If i could, i would give this place more stars. I highly recommend pondok. Great value!.
