This hotel was just what we were looking for to take a catamaran trip. Located in a quiet neighbourhood, uphill from the port, which has wonderful restaurants and a superb coffee shop with amazing pastries. We parked onsite and left the car parked for 2 nights never moving it until leaving. The room was 119, spacious with full sea view. Check in & out was so smooth and very clean. We appreciated the exceptional detail and care the older gentleman took in the breakfast area.

This hotel was an absolute lifesaver! I arrived last minute, late at night, and the receptionist kindly stayed late just to welcome me and check us in. The location is fantastic—less than a 5-minute walk to the port of Palau. Many of the rooms offer beautiful water views, which was such a nice surprise. It’s a no-frills hotel, but it’s incredibly clean, has air conditioning throughout, and includes breakfast. What really sets it apart is the warm and welcoming staff—they go above and beyond. For the price, this place is a gem!

Hotel Piccada was lovely! Our check-in went smoothly and the staff was welcoming. Our room was well organized to fit three people and the location was excellent. There were restaurants and little street shops everywhere. There was also a supermarket nearby. We would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Palau looking for a quieter area to stay.

Sehr freundliche, familiäre Unterkunft. Wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick von unserer Terrasse und die Einrichtung des Zimmers hat mir sehr gut gefallen, alles sehr cool und authentisch. Das ganze Haus ist in einen Hang hineingebaut und der Weg zum Frühstück/ Rezeption sehr verwinkelt. Das fanden wir als Familie sehr aufregend. Wir waren in der Vorsaison hier und am Abend gab es wenig offene Lokale im Ort, aber die Empfehlung der Rezeptionistin hat gut gepasst. Man sollte keinesfalls die Fahrt zu den Madalenas Inseln verpassen.

Wir wurden sehr, sehr herzlich empfangen und gleich ausgiebig über das Hotel, die Parkmöglichkeiten, besonders sehenswerte Orte und den Ort informiert. Es gab auch direkt ein paar Empfehlungen,.was man alles gesehen haben muss 😊👍. Ein früherer CheckIn war (dadurch, dass das Zimmer bereits fertig war) kein Problem. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einem großen Balkon und einer Hammer-Aussicht auf Palau, das Meer, den Bären und das Maddalena-Archipel - ein Traum. Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen - die Stadt innerhalb ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar (quasi nur über die Straße). Das Hotel ist zwar schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eigentlich alles, was man benötigt (halt typisch italienisch). Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden - in unserer Zimmerkategorie gab es sogar einen eigenen Stellplatz. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert Vielen Dank an das gesamte Piccada-Team für den außergewöhnlich schönen Aufenthalt
