This three-star Japanese style start hot spring hotel is located on Lake Toy, with breathtaking views of the lake, its volcanic hillside in the center, and its snow-capped mountains beyond. The motel offers a wide variety of lodging options, including dormstyle and family rooms with shared bathrooms. Unfortunately, we didn't venture into that because we weren't sure of the procedure and there was no one to explain. The major attraction in the hotel are the inn's natural hot springs. However, everyone else in the motel was walking around wearing bath kimonos, so I guess they took advantage of the hotel to their maximum potential. We had reserved a room with a lake view view and comfy beds instead of tatami on the floor, and the room was at least very roomy, with floor seating and additional futons. Like on a cruise ship, there was a small but functional bathroom attached. The lobby had a shabby oldstyle shopping center while the corridors were long and drab, despite the hotel's comfortable accommodation. A set dinner with several plates and a hefty buffet breakfast were included in the fee, which were quite varied and delicious.

Saya menginap di hotel ini hanya semalam saat musim salju. Hotel yang sangat mewah, tenang dan bersih. Ada onsen bila yang ingin melepas penat dengan berendam ala Jepang. Ada beberapa butik di dalam hotel yang menjual perhiasan, baju dan souvenir. Lokasi hotel ini cukup jauh dari pusat kota. Namun pemandangan indah dari Danau Toba di kamar sangat sepadan! Saya ingin kembali ke sini lagi. Rayy.

Hotel is directly facing the lake. Easy to find from the bus stop. Breakfast is good with many varieties. I did not try the onsen due to I got skin allergy. Overall I love this hotel.

In July, I spent two nights here. The first impression was excellent, especially for the entranceway, lake vista, and lobby. However, we booked a Japanese-style room because the room we were given was old and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The restroom had a musty sewer odor. After we complained, we eventually discovered that these rooms still have smoking. Because the hotel brought an air purifier, it did not make a significant difference. We were upgraded to an upgraded room the following evening, but we were charged an additional upgrade fee. I only endorse this resort if you get a new room on a nonsmoking floor for smokers. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style, and the menus were fantastic. The selections of food were essentially identical over the two days, though.

The breakfast was tasty and appropriate. The rooms are small and modest. The atmosphere is quite peaceful. There were only two or three pools at the beginning. The only temperature indicator at the beginning. But the view from our room was spectacular. The lake and even the lake toy Mount Fuji were visible throughout the trip.

The selections for breakfast and dinner were excellent, and they were served buffet-style. If you obtain an upgraded room on a non-smoking floor, I would only suggest this resort to those who are sensitive to cigarette smoke. The menus for breakfast and dinner were excellent and served buffet-style. However, the food options persisted for the two days.

We made a reservation for a Japanese-style room that offered an incredible view of lake toys. The room size is small by Japanese standards. There is even a seating space where you can relax while enjoying the lake view. Some of the amenities are obsolete, but they are all in excellent working condition. The Uyu memorial park is close by. We can also observe the nightly pyrotechnics from our window. There are both indoor and outdoor entrances on site. We tried that it was satisfactory.

We got a Japanese style room with a view of a lake toy. The room was spacious with a surprisingly comfortable futon bed. Most of all, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the very thin wall between the rooms. From the room next door we could hear everything except whispers.

The following morning, we were given an upgraded room, but were charged an additional upgrade fee. For people with cigarette smoke, I would only recommend this resort if you get an upgraded room on a non-smoking floor. The breakfast and dinner were buffet-style, and the selection was excellent. Over the two days, however, the food choices were identical.

Although the hotel is a little outdated and away from stores, the cleanliness is adequate. However, the cost, staff, and food made up for it. In addition, from your room, you may see fireworks on a lake toy. In conclusion, the staff is also welcoming and knowledgeable. Please keep in mind that the beginning fee is per transaction.

The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service from toy or station to the hotel. Please email them to confirm your arrival time in advance. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from or station. If you don't drive, you save the headache of arranging your own transportation to the hotel. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus back to or station. The room is average and has a large window with a lake view. Waiting for the night's firework field. The room is old, a little worn out, but for us it's fine. Dinner is also excellent. We ordered a family private open for 300 yen.

Excellent location, comfy, but a bit outdated Japanese accommodations. However, the view from the rooms is the main attraction. On the other hand, the water in a semi-bathtub is super hot, skin burning level hot and can't be adjusted. It may be a plus in the water to have a super hot bath, but not so in the spring. Overall a wonderful stay with a very nice dinner set and, most importantly, an extraordinary view on a clear day.

Excellent location for family vacations. From the hotel, we could see the summer firework. Although the room was a little small for 5 people, it was not very clean, and even though it was a non-smoking room, we could still smell the smoke from other rooms down the hallway. The restaurant staff was friendly. The hotel offers a variety of restaurants, excellent quality and flavor, and a great breakfast. There are two large hotels, two for men and two for women, each on separate floors. A reasonable rate, a tax-free shop in the hotel lobby, and a short distance from the hotel.

The location is quite far from the firework and the happening location, but overall it's very nice. We chose this hotel because it is in a reasonable price zone around the Lake Toy region. We stayed for one night while supporting our trip. It was amazing to be able to get a room with a lake view. The beauty of the autumn leaves around the lake was breathtaking, as was the tranquility of the lake itself.

Despite having limited English, the employees at this hotel are incredibly accommodating. We asked for the hotel shuttle to pick us up at the train station when making our reservation, but it was unable to be. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel, where we took the local bus to the hotel. The driver was really helpful when we made the reservation and utilized the hotel shuttle back to the train station. There are several cafes at the back of the hotel, but not all of them were open every night. Highlights of this location are the fireworks on the lake and the hiking trail around the lake.
