This hotel is in a nice position, very close to the railway station. From the Mito station's south exit, walking to the hotel takes approximately five minutes. Therefore, if you do not have heavy luggage, there is no need for a taxi. The hotel staff is really friendly, but their English is bad. My room was very small, but fine, with an open window, everything was tidy and in great condition. Breakfast is primarily Japanese with few western products or beverages and little bread. So eating rice and seaweed in the morning is not really ideal. After that, everything was Japanese, except for the ability to watch Japanese movies and even buy movies on demand. It is good to go to Mito station in the evening, as there are many eateries and good stores, including a gigantic electroshock.

We stayed for one night and thought this hotel was a great place to stay because it is most frequently rented. It was pointed out that there aren't many restaurants close to the hotel, so the train station is your best option. On 2014, the reviewer gave a useful explanation of the location of the hotel. Don't walk the street that the hotel is on as the sidewalk area is rough and hazardous. All in all a wonderful night's stay.

The rooms were compact but adequate for a single person or business traveller. There is a Dennis on the ground floor which is convenient. Its also a short walk to the station. My main complaint would be that the Saturday room rate is quite excessive for what it is but the midweek rates were reasonable.

This hotel is close to the train station. When you depart the south entrance and look straight ahead, youll notice a large neon sign at the hotel, which you can easily walk to. My room was neat and clean, and the sheets were clean. Although they were a little small, that was okay. The bathroom had an odd odor and, at first, the toilet had been leaking. The room was also peaceful in the evening. The receptionists are welcoming and the price for the accommodation is reasonable. A reasonable place to stay, clean rooms, and good value. That I can recommend.

When we came from New Zealand, we visited. The hotel was suggested by a daughter who is living in Karma. The atmosphere was excellent and the service was polite and informative. The rooms were a great size, spotless, well-stocked, and in a perfect position. Five minutes drive would take you to Mito train station. A supermarket, a brewery, a fantastic food and beer, coffee shops, a family store, and a ton of other establishments were all located in the same building. On Sunday, we had a nice brunch in the hotel restaurant. We had a lot of joy, and we would definitely return here if the need came again.

I stayed there with my partner for a night, and we had a good experience. Excellent service, nice room with everything we required, including a large, comfortable bed and full bathroom. The breakfast was pretty good as there was a choice between an American or Japanese breakfast. The American one includes eggs of your choice, meat bacon or sausage, salad, juice, and croissants or toast.

Our family visited Mito in June 2014. The hotel had a larger room with a sitting area that was ideal for our family of four persons. The room was clean, well air-conditioned, with a lovely bathroom western style, comfortable mattresses, and a small room fridge for drinks and snacks. The staff was lovely and extremely polite and helpful. The hotel is conveniently situated close to the train station and the main shopping district. While it is not a new hotel, we weren't looking for anything extravagant or fancy. This hotel made up for its age with its service, location, and comfort. We would be back to the sensei hotel.

I decided to stay in Mito for a stopover between Tokyo and a motel. Incredibly cheap Singapore sgd per night for two persons in Japan. No complaints, very clean. This place is small, but it offers everything you need including a kettle, hair dryer, and toiletries. If you need anything quickly, make sure to check other hotels in Tokyo.

Just a stay for one night while on business. The room was clean and comfy. hot water pressure is good. Breakfast is a bit limited, but I don't have any real complaints. There are some good bars around, such as drunken duck.

The hotel is located near Mito train station and is close to many restaurants and shops. The old samurai school was also within walking distance which was interesting. The room was a bit old but the comfort level and cleanliness were great. The staff were very welcoming and friendly even though their English was very limited. I will stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main train station and offers a pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming and helpful, but they are not fluent in English. Breakfast is delicious, however, the selection is a little limited, and during a prolonged stay it can be difficult to keep up with the latest. The pressure of water in the shower was fantastic.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Although the hotel is small, it is pleasant and tidy. It is located down a busy street but is relatively quiet. Their Mito station, where eateries and other entertainment options are also accessible, is a short 5-minute walk away. The rooms are spotless and have complete toiletries. The only problem we ran into was that we couldnt locate the toilet exhaust fan switch, but we chose not to ask it anyway. The breakfast menu was basically Japanese, and it stayed the same throughout our visit. There are also some rental cars close by. When I inquired whether the front desk staff speak some English, I was told that the majority of the reception staff speaks some English. I find using phone reservations to make reservations more effective. Payments or cards were not prompted until the check out process.

Location in the city around 1 am from the cod, overlooking the railroad yards. The hotel is eight stories and very utilitarian in style. The passenger lifts 2 are small, carrying no more than 3 people with a suitcase each. The room was small and very hot, with the ac controlled remotely by the hotel, no user adjustment. While you could open the window to enjoy fresh air, the hotel backs onto a busy railway yard multi lined. This meant there was a tradeoff between fresh air and lots of noise from around 440 am and midnight. The room had a portable air humidifier provided which helped relieve the stifling heat. Unlike most hotels, there was no bottled water supplied. The bed was comfortable. It seems that many hotels who let a double room think they only need to provide one luggage rack, instead use the desk top. Free wifi was available. Small but modern bathroom with a good selection of toiletries. The shower was over the high side of the bath, which could be trouble for those with mobility or balance issues. There was a coin operated laundry on an upper floor for guests to use. Breakfast options were approximately 97 Japanese food, no cereal or tomato juice, scrambled eggs were made to order.

I stayed here for 2 nights on business. 70 euros for a spacious, well-equipped and spotless single room. Breakfast was good and filling. Staff were really kind and professional. Very convenient location next to train and bus stations, main shops and restaurants.

When visiting friends in Mito, we stayed at the Sentinel for four days. The size of the room and the location, which was excellent right across the station and a multistory mall with excellent restaurants, food courts, and death, both surprised us. Despite the initial inconvenience caused by the fact that we could not use our visa debit, the staff was friendly and courteous. Even in the normal twin room, sadly, there was wifi in the lobby, which was not the case. However, it was a decent hotel and an affordable price of roughly 80 per night for a large twin that was reserved through application.

The hotel is basic, but overall it offers good value for money. I especially liked the Japanese breakfast buffet and the location of the hotel directly next to the train station and some bars and restaurants in the neighborhood.

We had a comfortable stay in this hotel and will definitely return to this place. There are other things here. The location is within walking distance of the train station and huge malls where you will find grocery stores and stores. It has a street that has so many Sakura, it has a river along the road and shopping areas and restaurants. The room was quite small.

I had never traveled to Japan before, and I required four-person rooms. If a smoking room was available over the weekend, everything was reserved there. Mito, the president's hotel, came to your aid. The facility and support were outstanding, but the hotel's distance from Naritai Airport and mediocre breakfast buffet were to blame for the overall 4 rating. The rooms were modestly sized, tidy, and pleasant. Although the daily trip to Tokyo Station was lengthy, the trains' limited express and local or were reliable, and the ability to access other public transportation was remarkable. Mito is an affordable, secure, and pleasant travel companion if you're looking to stay outside of the costly Tokyo yet would prefer to commute. There are plenty of things to do in Okinao, or you can connect to nearby places.

We recently spent 5 nights at the Take inn Mito, which was clean, safe, and welcoming like all took inn hotels. Checking and checkout were quick and efficient, as was our checkout. The rooms were typical take inns and were equipped with all amenities. The breakfast was Japanese and the most enjoyable. The location is the main drawback, because it's on the south side of the station, most action is on the north side, about a 10 minute walk away, and some of the footpaths are rough and very Japanese. After leaving the south exit, you can take the elevator or lift to the street level main road, cross the road, turn left and walk approximately 150 200 meters, turn right and walk down the road to the end, and then turn left. The hotel is around 50 meters away. If you want to find somewhere to eat close to the hotel, turn left from the front of the hotel, cross the river and the first main road and turn left or right for some restaurants. Other restaurants are on the railroad station or on the north side. Although the hotel is fine, it is not perfect, but it is better than average.
