Room good for family. Has a mini kitchen that you could prepare your food inside the room. Regular beds were ok but the extra bed (futon) we had in our room was kind of stiff. Located in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk to Nijo Castle, 8 mins walk to karasuma station, around 3 stops away from Kyoto Station.

It was an excellent boutique hotel. It was perfect for our purposes. Very spacious room with whatever you need for an extended stay. The external environment around it was unimpressive but the location just a block off of the main thoroughfare more than made up for it. It was a short walk to conveniences stores, restaurants and the train station.

Hotel was very clean and large for Japanese standards. There were 4 (2 adult size boys) of us and it felt comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and bedding comfortable. Location isn’t too far from subway (about 10 mins). Staff were friendly and beyond helpful. Great value for the $. Will definitely stay again.

This little slice of heaven has picked in an alley was absolutely delightful! The staff were very friendly and helpful the entire time. The room was very spacious for a room that had to accommodate a family of four. The location is actually quite convenient as well. Close to shopping, groceries, and the train system. 10/10 recommend!

The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!

- [ ] Location was great but hard to find for the Uber driver since the location on Expedia shows inside the castle! - [ ] Room was a decent size and had bunk beds that can fit adults for our kids - [ ] Front desk had no sitting space; another hint that this is also a private Equity investment property. However, the people were courteous. - [ ] Lots of 7-11s and Family Marts around making it a convenient place. Not to far from the market areas or temples in Kyoto. Generally a quiet area. - [ ] We had to pay Y200 for losing a spare card key! That was unexpected since we don’t experience that in the US. No other hotel had such a draconian penalty in their fine print.

Convenient laundry hotel in Kyoto. Location on Expedia shows it is inside Niji castle but it is a short distance walk away. Use address given on booking to navigate.
