We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Excellent hotel in a very quiet part of kyoto, yet conveniently close to the subway and only ten minutes walk from the wellknown gion district! The rooms are certainly big enough for two people, and our room was immaculate. The receptionists were incredibly welcoming and accommodating.

Very clean and all the staff are very helpful. The room comes with a foot massager which we use every day after i walk for ten days. We love staying here.

The internet quality was the biggest letdown, it would stop abruptly every few minutes, and i unintentionally used up all of my data on my phone plan because it disconnected me without warning from the wifi. They provide free shower gels, shampoo, conditioner, shower lotions in the bathroom, which was pretty standard with a shower and bath. I had gotten surprisingly good room with 2 beds, tv, chair, desk, strange leg massager, decent bathroom with shower, bathtub, etc.

I would recommend staying here if you are visiting kyoto. They looked after us very well. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent english, so they helped us when we needed them. Not to mention the site is located right next to everything and is very close to the shrines.

We are very grateful that you made our visit an unforgettable experience. This hotel was fantastic for my mother and me. After a day of strenuous walking, the foot massager was the greatest after sluggish walking in the spacious rooms than expected by japanese standards, and the beds were cozy. Convenience stores are close to the hotel, one is right next door, food, as well as tavern station. The service was what we loved the most about it yoshida and his crew were so knowledgeable and friendly the entire time we were there they are so wonderful!

The location is excellent, with good rail connections and a short walk to the gion district. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and we were able to add an extra bed for our daughter, which seems unusual in japan. Perfect for us.

The location was perfect, as i could get there in one or two subway stops. I did it at the end of march, but ive been able to make a reservation for comparatively low costs. Next time, ill also use it. My goal was to visit nijo castle, and since he was unable to do so at one of the subway stations, the location wasnt ideal.

I booked this place because we were very disappointed with the facilities provided, especially the food that we got was too bad, because the room didn't look good and there are few restaurants available in this place, it makes us happy with the stay. Besides that, the atmosphere was so amazing and the room was very clean.

Excellent position, conveniently close to a train station and commode. Although parking is available, it is not on the property. However, its nearby. I would return to this hotel.

As long as you choose the appropriate exit, the hotel is approximately 100 meters from the subway exit. The room is not too small. There is no issue with the service provided by the southeastasian front desk. Its not overly tiny, and theres also a leg massager in the room. Shopping and scenic locations can all be reached on foot from here. You may find countless cuisines in this area.

I highly recommend this place. It was clean and good value for money. I had free time and didnt have to worry about laughing. The front desk staff were also friendly and happy. Sightseeing is easy and convenient.

The hotel's image is its actual room, not its photograph. They have theme rooms that I suppose look like Japanese style rooms, but that wasn't what we got. We got a room with a wall view, not so nice. But the room was clean and a decent size. With the exception of a drink vending machine, there were no nice facilities in the hotel. A short walk from Lion and near a subway station, which was very useful. Staff were friendly, but the hotel could use a face lift. Would I stay again? No.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. We stayed in a concept room for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. They have great amenities and a spacious balcony. The bed was comfy. Great location, Metro over the street, Family Mart next door. Walking distance to Mention, temples and papplication.

New to Japan. This was our first Japanese hotel and our first overnight trip to Japan. I was worried about what we would get in any hotel. I saw a review that said this is my go-to hotel in Kyoto. I highly recommend following that advice with this hotel! The staff made sure we were well taken care of. Super clean. Super nice. The mattress and pillows were so good that I meant to get the manufacturer off the label. Ideal for people with bad backs. Slid like a baby here. Parking is not next to the hotel and is about 150 meters away next to a 100 year old massive shrine that is spectacular. This hotel is what I will judge all future hotels against. If you're new to staying in a Japanese hotel, have no trouble staying here. Bow, we went to hiroshi after kyoto, and you can read that review. The hotel in hiroshi was nearly three times as expensive and one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in, but at least I had this great hotel in kyoto.
