I stayed at 928 at the end, with a lovely view and a pretty quiet atmosphere. Of course, they dont want to check me in even though my company uses them all the time and they have rooms available. I had come from Australia for 14 hours and was quite tired. I know there were rooms and when embarrassed they said check in was at 1230 but for 300 yen 41 aus us they have a room, I paid for it because I needed to rest. Of course, most people are checking out around that time and the cleaners are busy vacuuming and rattling garbage and trolleys outside my door to which I requested to be a little quiet. I just feel they could have done a little more. I stayed for one night and checked out the next morning at 8.30 am. Small room but has everything in a compact manner. Heated toilet seats with all the Japanese jet sprays etc, they now offer free use of the city which is in your room. Thats pretty cool. The hotel is very central and has numerous convenience stores at your door step and many restaurants.

They're a small hotel with a clean and spacious room with a range of breakfast options. But the biggest disappointment is that they didn't speak English very well.

You can walk to Tenzin for shopping and sightseeing and also get around Fukuoka easily. The desk staff does not speak English well. You might use your phone to translate or write your request using block letters all caps. Easier to read as everyone in Japan knows some English but may have trouble speaking English. If you want early checking or late checkout, you can pay for it. Im not a fan of this policy, but it is what it is. We left our bags with the hotel no charge for that and went walking for a bit until our room was ready. You will get a map in English on one side, Japanese on the other side, with local places of interest. The room had 2 bottle of water that you could hang it up and slept on, with a small shelf up high not a solid shelf but 3 or 4 metal bars that some of the clothes would slide through, so you can just roll around as the room was not very large as it was. There was a hot shower with a toaster with an overflow of fresh fruit, bread, or shaver, and a bit of ash and sugar. However, if you visit Japan for the first time, I suggest visiting a convenience shop there. When you walk there, you will notice a big amount of electricity and all the equipment and some flimsy tv as it makes you feel

The location of this hotel is very convenient. The area has a very good view and breakfast. They do not need to use the subway to get to canal city, Tenzin underground mall, 24 hours open ichiban, Don Quixote, and other places to visit in Fukuoka. The room size is small but clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

In October, I spent three nights with my wife and another couple. Great location for the rail station, and the rooms are small but quite well furnished. Had to have a smoking room, which really smelled foul and had a strong, strong smoke, which can be overpowering if you are not used to it. Breakfast was fairly affordable but at best just acceptable. A lot of fried food and very few healthy options. Checkin was really overcrowded and took about 30 minutes. Check in also a little early at 10 am because all the other hotels we used in Japan were at 11 am. Okay for a brief stay.
