Beautiful room with traditional and modern Japanese influences. Beds very comfortable. Lovely staff. Laundry room and Onsen were really great. Bettei area of hotel had its own entrance/exit and lift, which made coming and going very quick and easy. Very convenient location.

One of the bestest hotels I’ve stayed in worldwide. We had a room with a private onsen attached. It was exceptionally well appointed and clean hotel. The views from the rooftop on Sun or exceptional. The staff even pointed out a private entrance that we could use to avoid traveling through the lobby. The room also came with a set of pajamas, plush robes, and yukatas.

We were so satisfied with this hotel. The room was large, spotless and extremely well equipped. Many amenities were free of charge. The happy hour on the roof, overlooking the city was delightful. The location in Kyoto is perfect. Most of all, the staff was extremely helpful. I had to go to the hospital for two days in Kyoto and the staff really helped smooth this situation and was so kind upon my return to the hotel. I would rate this hotel a 10+.

This was a beautiful hotel in a walkable area with transportation nearby. Quickly get to Nishiki Market for good food, and the Gion District for sight-seeing. I stayed in a room with a private onsen which was amazing for recovery after walking all day. Hotel has a beautiful lobby and rooftop with a foot bath. Room was very large with a seating area to eat, a balcony, and little entryway. Fridge came stocked with drinks and there were also snacks to enjoy.

This is how you run a hotel. The staff explained the hotel services and amenities which allowed us to take full advantage of the hotel. The front desk was amazing and the highlight of the trip was our server Fukiku I had a medical emergency and the manager checked in on me, gave me a referral and made sure I was ok. Like I was visiting family. Will be back!!!!
