
Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Poring Hot Spring
Poring Hot Springs & Nature Reserve is at the foot of Mount Kinabalu in Kota Kinabalu. It features bird-watching spots, a butterfly farm, a sulphur bath and an outdoor pool.
Rooms at Poring Hot Springs & Nature Reserve feature a separate bedroom and living room, as well as a private balcony. Each has a satellite TV, minibar and tea/coffee maker. Some rooms feature an outdoor bathtub.
Guests can cross a bridge over the Mamut River to reach the hot pools in the forest. Explore the abundant forest life from the Canopy Walkway, or have a picnic with friends at a barbecue pit. Other facilities include an orchid garden and tour desk.
The on-site restaurant offers open-air seating.
Poring Hot Springs & Nature Reserve is a 4-hour drive from Kota Kinabalu’s city centre. Airport transfers are available and must be booked in advance.
NOTE: Effective September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay.
