It's just about what you'd anticipate for the price, it's seen better days but is reasonably priced, there is a refrigerator in the room, and it's the same bottle of water, tea, and coffee that is refilled each day, and it's directly across from Tanjun Aru beach. It's also just a short walk from shanghai la, where the rooms are nearly ten times the price of the casuarina, my entire weeks stay at the casuarina was less than a single night at the Shanghai la where other members of the group were staying. Oh, and there is a free shuttle to the airport, you just need to let them know in advance.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Had to because of an event that was planned right next to the hotel. I checked into my first room on level 4. The floor was sticky and there was a piece of oxidized fruit behind the sink. I told the cleaner we bumped outside and she said it was just cleaned and the floor stickiness was due to the residue of water. I told her no, bent down and saw food marks on it. I asked for a room change, and the receptionist graciously answered. was given room level 2 206. Ac leaks at the sliding door and the floor is wet. But the room was clean and spacious. The receptionist recommended another room on level 1. Checked it and it was too close to the car park so we could hear car noise. So we decided to put up with the leaking ac in level 206. The maintenance man came to fix it and it was good for the night. The next night we experienced it again. Because it was a sunday there was no maintenance man to fix it. I was offered another room but I was just too tired to move. So we just stayed. First motel in Malaysia with no bidet. Which was quite inconvenient. Breakfast was provided, simple but we are grateful for it as it helps with two young kids. The planes took off all day and night. Would I return?

I recently visited with my companion for four days and three nights. Tanjun Aru Beach is the hotel's most close proximity to it, where you can visit to watch the sun set. There are many food stalls around, so take a bite and go to the beach to watch the sun set. The hotel is not close to the city center, which makes it quite quiet. If you rent a car, you can easily travel to the city center. It is a good bargain.

They provide basic facilities and there is an old hotel that looks old but still comfortable. Also, the bed that they provided is OK, but so noisy. The shower that they provide is really nice.

Will definitely return. The rooms are spacious. Plan to stay for one night on the mainland. Will stay 3 nights. Staff is friendly, especially Daniel, he is very helpful. Good location, close to shops, restaurants, and beach where you can see the sunset.

Stayed 2 nights on different dates as part of my holiday. Found this hotel to be clean, comfortable for a 3Star. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. It has a small balcony too. The staff are friendly. Location wise, it’s close to the airport and also a beach which is less than 5 mins walking distance from the hotel. They even have complimentary shuttle service to the airport. Overall, I liked staying here and will degenerate chhose this lace on my next visit
