Banyak yang tahu bahwa hotel ini terkenal dengan kemegahannya di kota Tawau ini sedikit masa lalu karena biasanya hanya pelanggan yang cukup kaya saja yang selalu menginap di hotel ini yang cukup sempurna dengan semua fasilitas yang Anda butuhkan. Tapi sekarang agak sepi karena banyak ruang yang sudah ditutup, terutama di lobi dengan hanya ruang resepsionis yang dibuka mungkin karena biaya operasional yang cukup tinggi, lalu pihak hotel mengambil langkah-langkah yang agak radikal untuk mengimbangi biaya operasional terutama setelah pandemi. Tapi dari segi kenyamanan dan kebersihan kamar masih layak untuk menginap, harga juga agak murah, disamping tempat parkir khusus untuk pelanggan tersedia, jadi tidak perlu parkir jauh. Hanya TV dan peralatan seperti meja dan kabin agak "old timer" memiliki desain. Tapi secara keseluruhan, sangat baik dan puas.

Secara keseluruhan hotel ini bagus, bermanfaat dengan harga yang terjangkau. Hotel tua namun sangat bersih. Jarak dari pasar Tawau dan pusat kota. Harganya bagus. Termasuk 1 set sarapan yang diantar ke kamar Anda. Tekanan air perlu ditingkatkan. Sangat lambat. Waktu check-out dapat diperpanjang dari RM 50 hingga 4 sore.

Saya rasa ini adalah salah satu hotel tertua dan ternyaman di Tawau. Lokasinya di pusat kota dengan akses mudah ke toko, restoran, dll. Hotel ini sangat bagus dan nyaman, meskipun mereka dapat menyediakan beberapa hal lagi untuk tamunya, seperti perlengkapan mandi dan lain-lain.
