We stayed at the old town inn for one night because of its close proximity to the airport. It was very convenient for the car rental return. The rooms were comfortable and had all the basic necessities. What stood out to us was the excellent service from the staff. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived before checkin time and were able to get us into our rooms early. We were also impressed with the continental breakfast. There were many choices for every taste and the woman working in the breakfast room was very attentive to the guests, helping before being asked. The room was also very clean. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Its not in the most attractive area of san dicio, but it didnt detract from our stay.

In february 2024, i spent a single night here. It is reasonably priced, wellkept, tidy, cozy, and wellmaintained. Old town is a short drive away, but the immediate neighborhood is a little strange (rather industrial).

We would definitely stay again. This hotel has an oldfashioned charm. The lobby and our room were very clean. The pool area is shady and very nice and relaxing. It is within walking distance of old town and close to the airport.

This hidden gem is close to the city attractions of san diego, yet not in the bustling downtown area. Our room was spotless and cozy, and the hotel property was wellkept. The staff was really welcoming. Every morning, a delicious breakfast is served. To get to the downtown sights of san diego, you can stroll to old town san diego and the red trolley train line. The rental car to the airport from san diego airport is 5 minutes away. Balboa park, pt. Loma, and sea world are all within a tenminute drive away. Cabrillo national monument is 20 minutes away. We heartily endorse it!.

Dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan. Near old town and the transit center. Easy to travel to downtown by mts. Only 6 bucks a day pass 2 bucks per pronto card. If you need to go to the airport just catch the free airport flyer. Breakfast can only be improved by sausages and eggs. Oh, and during the day it is a bit noisy due to the location of the Pacific highway. But at night i didnt have trouble sleeping.

We have reserved a variety of lodgings as frequent travelers over the years. San die was a little challenging because many wellknown hotel chains had too many fair to poor reviews. Noise, state of the rooms, presence of homeless people, mechanical issues with elevators, plumbing, etc. Are all mentioned repeatedly. When i came across old Town inn, reviews were almost all positive. One person complained that the pool water was too cold what? We booked directly with the property, which i would recommend, and the desk agent was very helpful and friendly. We just got back home from 5 nights at the old town inn. The front desk agents were among the friendliest and most helpful weve ever encountered. The location was very convenient for us. The room was very clean and wellfurnished. Comfortable bed, free parking, and free breakfast. Very nicely manicured grounds and pool area. When we arrived, i noticed some traffic noise when we were outside, but i didnt hear any noise outside. I did have the ac on low all the time so the hum of it may have concealed any outdoor noise. The inn is on the edge of an industrial area.Across the street was a huge warehousestyle building housing a navy command center. There was no noise or traffic from that. We saw no homeless people in the area nor any people who might give us cause for safety concerns. Hotel guests were family, retirees, and vacationers. This was a great choice for us and we would not hesitate to return or recommend it.

My husband booked 2 nights at the old town inn to explore gaslamp and the old town market. Not only is it perfect for the location, but also for the good reviews about this place. The room was chiquito but not very spacious like other hotels, but enough for a couple like us. Breakfast is very basic but at least enough to get us going. Overall happy staying at the old town inn.

We went to san diego to attend a wedding. We rented 3 rooms. Our overall experience was great. Will book there again if we return to san diego. The staff was great. The accommodations were great.

We loved it so much! They left a small anniversary sign with some glasses and wine after i informed them that it was our anniversary. I just used their glasses because i brought my own drink. I decorated a little bit, but i could have done more because i didnt have time. But we adored it! Will undoubtedly return and suggest it to others.

The building is spotless, the pool is spotless, and the room is tidy. However, the air conditioning was a little too heavy, and the restroom could use an upgrade. There are plenty of free parking spots. The price is reasonable, and the front desk staff provided excellent service.

The room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. The homemade steelcut oats at breakfast were great, as was the hot coffee available all day long! The staff members i spoke with went above and beyond, giving me recommendations for places to go and things to see. The location is ideal, its close to the airport, public transportation, old town, liberty station, and downtown. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay again the next time i visit town.

I have to give the old town inn 5 stars overall it definitely exceeded my expectations. Check in was quick and easy, the room was easy to find and both stairs and elevator access require a room key, so it made me feel good. The room is clean and comfortable and has a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave and even a 2 burner stove top. There is also a pool but we didnt get a chance to use it.

I cant say anything negative about the staff and guest services. If you are noisetolerant, its quite convenient to the old town and the village. If you are tolerant to noise, its quite convenient to the old town and the village. Simple breakfast, nice bed, and pillows. The location is very noisy, so you might not stay here again.

We stayed here for a couple of nights this week. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and comfortable it was! The staff were very friendly and we had no issues. There was a small doggie relief that was charming and sufficient. If your goal is sea world or fiesta island dog park, you cant be better located! We will definitely be back! This charming hotel has very competent and serviceoriented staff. The term service with a smile might well have been coined here! The rooms are clean, quiet and well appointed a breakfast is included and plentiful. Old town san diego and other available bus and train transportation are also just a short walk from the hotel. Our stay was good from start to finish.

I stayed in a king room. The room looked great and neat. Large spacious tub and bathroom. The room service was good. Very secure as you have to use your room access card to use the elevator or stairs. Breakfast had very limited options. No vegetables. Only flakes, bread, oats, yoplait, and boiled egg can make waffles. The kid liked playing with triceratops toy near reception.
