I had reserved a room at this motel on my first trip to auto. They picked up a companion and me from the airport using an air-conditioned hotel shuttle that was pre-arranged for 250 metical per person. Our check-in went swiftly. Due to our early arrival, access to our rooms was delayed a little. The room was tiled on the floor, with a comfy rug underfoot. The bed was perfect, and the bathroom had a shower, a basin, and a toilet. Everything was spotless and in working order. Breakfast consisted of a buffet of fresh fruit and fruit juice, followed by hot meal eggs, baked beans, cheesy tomato, and so on. Simple but adequate. Those who desired it, there was a coffee and a yes and coffee. There were no other dishes served. With the exception of a thunderstorm service provider issue, internet connection was good throughout the building. The employees spoke English fluently, polite, and helpful. The single issue we had was the acceptance of my coworker's mastercard, though mine soon worked. at a daily fee of 5,500 metical, this is more than acceptable value for the money. Just a word of caution: if you need a ride back to the airport, insist on the hotel shuttle, because you will be directed to a more expensive taxi if you do

It appears that the hotel itself is acceptable. The rooms are relatively clean, and the hotel is usually well-kept. However, they advertise services that are never advertised. The hotel advertises currency rates at the front desk, but you can't exchange money, and they have a menu, but most of what you request isn't. They have desserts on the menu, but there are never any available, and the only starter they appear to have is soup. The vast majority of the main course is also unavailable! So why do I inquire as to what a menu? At best, the food available is average, and the staff is unusual and uninterested. Though auto is a lovely city, I would look to remain in a different hotel. As one reviewer noted, the art work on the stair walls is impressive.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, not overly fancy. The bed was good. There was hot water running and even a tiny pool. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, yoghurt, as well as baked beans and freshly baked bread.

I got a lower floor room. The lock on the door did not work well. One towel per room when there are two people. The next day. Hamilton, the gentleman in charge recently moved us to another room. Larger and bigger. He also gave us some useful information about places to see. Breakfast was delicious. Simple but enough. Good location in a good neighborhood.
