We stayed at the gracious began hotel for 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer. The staff was fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is a bit out of town but there is a free shuttle that is always available to and from anywhere, just a call away. Breakfast was great, especially the Mahan traditional dishes. Dinner menu has a broad selection and everything we tried was very tasty. Overall, we have never been so spoiled and taken care of and staying in hotels will never be the same.

ニューバガンからも少し離れている立地ですが、建物も、お部屋もとてもきれいでした。スタッフの方も親切で過ごしやすかったです。観光用のタクシーもホテルのタクシーを予約できて、お値段も決まっているので安心でした。

Beautiful architecture, gardens, pool & spa. Owner and his wife were very friendly and inviting to local activities like festivals and holiday celebrations. Staff was very helpful especial manager Myo and Naing Tun (also our mini car driver). With all there help anyone will have a great first time excursion into Myanmar's Bagan, Old Bagan and sourounding areas like Mount Papa. If you come here the only thing you will have left to do is ENJOY!!!😄😄😄😄😄

We stayed in a roomy bungalow for two nights and had a bad experience! It was without a doubt the best stay in Maharashtra! When we arrived, the receptionist took excellent care of us and even put tanaka on our faces. The staff was really courteous and professional. Everything was tidy and quiet. The food is delicious, with many options and affordable prices. To take in the local culture, the special party for Amoudhis proprietor daughter with karaoke was fun. Everyone is friendly. It is like family. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with a wide variety of options including fried eggs and fresh fruit. The rooftop at sunset and sunrise are both huge pluses. We could see balloons going off in front of the hotel. A free gym is also located upstairs. O, and of course, the huge pool was wonderful! The temperature in the water was nice and the birds were waving by the pool, so lovely details! The spa provided me with the best massage I've ever had in south east Asia. We give special thanks to our new friend William. We are hoping to see you soon in Holland.

The upscale hotel is only intended for the asianchinese market and likely won't live up to the standard western expectations for luxury and boutique hotels. Although only four years old, it is rapidly dwindling due to the buses of Chinese tourists arriving every second day. Unfortunately, they make a big difference to the stay by shouting in the hallways and slamming doors at 5.20 when the 60 of them start getting ready for the sunrise. They stoop, fart, and eat like pigs in the cafeteria, a culture that we are used to, and we were all shocked to find it. The hotel amenities are adequate, with a great pool that wasn't great, though it was cold because the weather wasn't great, large rooms with excellent beds, and filthy bathrooms that weren't thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast at the restaurant was more Asian and local than continental, which isn't a disadvantage because it tastes good, but it was a little cold because the kids were out all the time. The luxury and boutique hotel lacks class and elegance, and I wouldn't be surprised if it received more than three stars, as it is most likely we had too high expectations before traveling to incredible locations. We spent three days in the distance, and it wasn't a problem since the kids preferred spending evenings in the hotel, but if

It's a new began city so if you want to enjoy a peaceful and quiet place, this place is the place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had my honeymoon at The Gracious Beginning Hotel and I got more than I expected there. It is a quiet and peaceful place, so choose a different hotel. The bike is also ready at the hotel. So you can start your journey from there. The only downside is the somewhat slow wifi sometimes.

少し中心部から遠いが、部屋も広く、食事も安い。屋上から朝焼けの撮影ができるし、気球の着陸場所に近いので、歩いて見に行けます。フロントスタッフは慣れていない感じで、車の手配等はよく確認した方がいい。

Beautiful hotel and really amazing staff but this hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Part of the UNESCO agreement for Bagan to become a World Heritage Site was that any new hotels should be built away from the temple areas and so a hotel zone was created outside of New Bagan. The problem for the Gracious Bagan is that they are currently the only hotel in this hotel zone and so they really are out on a limb. As a consequence, there are no restaurants, shops or anything nearby so you cannot just go out on an evening without pre-booking a tax The first sign that the hotel was so far out of New Bagan was that the flat rate taxi price from the airport to New Bagan was doubled! The hotel does have a shuttle service at certain times of the day that drops you off in the centre of New Bagan but if you require a taxi at any other time, it takes a minimum of 10-15 minutes for the taxi to get to the hotel. I arrived early evening and so was pretty much limited on my first night to eating in the hotel restaurant. I found the menu to be extremely limited and there was nothing on the menu to cater for a vegetarian although they did make a vegetable curry for me. In the end, I opted to rent an E-bike from New Bagan to allow me the freedom to come and go from the hotel as I pleased, but the road from New Bagan to the hotel is not well maintained or lit and so it is not the safest of journeys to make after dark. Overall, a lovely hotel in an awful location.
