Overall, a lovely little motel for the money and I would definitely return if in the area again. We initially thought this was a little off the town and up a steep hill, but that was a wonderful treat when they had a festival in town for four days, and we didn't hear the noise the locals had even complained about. It was also a pleasant walk and allowed us to experience local life. If you felt lazy, a tutu taxi was reasonably priced. It was also close to some of the starting points of some trekking. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a rainy shower in a wet room. There were fantastic views of the hills and the neighborhood community. A temple with a bamboo Buddha was a short walk away. The staff were wonderful, very polite and helpful, and welcomed us whenever we left town. They also booked a trip for us and arranged taxis without any problems. Breakfast was basic but they try very hard to satisfy you, sometimes even too hard, bringing in many plates of food when you have no more. Wifi was good and had a strong signal. Washing was inexpensive and done professionally.

This is a very good hotel, with clean facilities like the bathroom and room. The location is excellent and has a nice view. The staff is very well trained and especially the management lady is very helpful and polite. I really enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast is great and includes organic coffee from cafe Kala in the room. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

This is a good hotel with a view of Kala. The room is clean and the staff is really friendly. They waited for us with a gold drink every time we came back from somewhere. Breakfast is also good. Would recommend staying here.

We stop here every time we visit Kala. The service is always great and more importantly, the hotel is clean. If you are like me and you want your towels to be perfectly clean, white, soft and smelly, this is the hotel you are looking for. By the way, not only are your bed linen clean, but also the floor, bathroom, and all! We love their traditional shan breakfast. This hotel truly deserves your attention and my recommendation. Don't hesitate to stop there. It is directly near cafe Kala, a cute little cafe with amazing coffee and food.

Very pleasant hotel with a clean room and bathroom. The location is strategic with a beautiful view. The staff is well trained especially the manager is very friendly. The breakfast is good and there is organic coffee from cafe Kala in the room. I recommend this hotel.

Initially we thought this was a little bit away from the town and up a big hill, but that was a godsend when they had a festivl over 4 days in town and we didn't get the noise (the locals even complained about it). It was also a very pleasant walk and gave us chance to see local life - a tuk-tuk taxi was very cheap if you felt lazy. It was also close to starting points of some trekking. The rooms were fairly basic but clean and comfortable; the bathroom was large with a wet room type shower. There were great views of the hills and local village. A temple with a bamboo Buddha was a short walk away. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful and greeted us whenever we returned from the town. They also booked a trip for us and arranged taxis with no issues. Breakfast was basic but they try really hard to satisfy you - in fact too hard some mornings bringing out lots plates of food when you have asked for no more. Wifi was good with a strong signal. Overall a great little hotel for the price; would definitely return if in that area again.
