They let me check in early because my bus arrived earlier. Very nice people

Room was spacious, there was a microwave, mini fridge, cooking utensils, stove, couch, table with chairs, toaster, and a kettle. They do offer breakfast for a fee. They don’t have an ac just a fan and a heater. They don’t have a phone either. Wifi connection was good. Town is just a drive away where you can find stores, restaurants and coffee shops. Property is a little outdated but overall it was ok. It was quiet for the most part other than hearing the train or cars passing by. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you get a room upstairs, you get a nice view of the sunrise and sunset. Hobbiton is about 20 mins away.

The room worked well for me and was quite spacious. It had all the kitchen tools I needed and was located in a quite area. The only drawback was the WiFi access was lacking some evenings and the front desk was not particularly helpful. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay.

Nice comfortable room, no AC but they had a Fan. Good location for us to reach the places we were visiting. WiFi was spotty, great free parking. Owner gave us tips to visit the Gardens in Hamilton, great call.

The room was clean and staff helpful. The kitchen had everything required but only wished there was atleast a medium sized pot. Parking was great too as we were able to park right outside our room.

Good Spring clean is need but on the surface it was clean enough. Plastic electric jug was unusable due to deterioration of the plastic. Overall a satisfactory-good motel for the price.

Good location. Clean room. Outdated fan heater was too loud to hear the TV. Bathroom fan was also very loud The movie we selected on TV stopped halfway through. Couldn't get it going again

Room was in good condition, staff were ok. Put off by the domestic disturbance of the emergency housing beneficiaries.

I REALLY wanted to love this place when I booked it, but sadly it has seen better days, like maybe 20 to 30 years ago. The room was clean, but there was mold in the shower. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and walked me to the room to explain the locks. After that, it was down hill. The mattress had a hole in the middle and sank in about 6 inches when we sat on it. The pillows were comfortable, so that was good. The ancient heater wouldn't stay on, and it had a horrible stench to it. We noticed too late that the windows wouldn't shut all the way. The room was freezing! The ONLY thing that saved us was a thick blanket we found in the closet. Getting out of bed in the morning was brutal. Again, the room was FREEZING! Thankfully, we only stayed for one night.

There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was so hot I had to leave the front door open. Also, the noise from the cars on the road was so loud that I couldn't sleep well at night. And when I checked in, the hospitality was incredibly rude.

Room was dirty. Toilet did work. Windows didn’t close. A lot of flies and fleas. Could hear all my neighbors. Didn’t feel safe leaving my belongings in the room. Checked out a day early to sleep in my car (thankfully did not have to do that).
