a great hostel more like a shared house. Perfect for backpackers living and working in Queenstown. Im a waitress and finish work at 10.3011 pm, theres always people up when I get home, the kitchen doesn't close and everyone is a really social group. If you want more of a homely vibe and to meet other long term murderers, this is the place.

I stayed here for several months in 2021 and will always return when I'm in queenstown the vibe, people, and cute quirky building immediately made me feel at home. It also has great facilities, comfy beds, free laundry, lovely communal spaces, and front garden for drinks, boys, sunbathing, beautiful views of the gondola! I've made long-time friends and memories at tar it's a really unique place and I totally recommend it to anyone looking to meet people in queenstown and live in more of a home than a hostel.

I have been living at the hostel for more than a year longer than expected. I also have lifelong friends who have also lived there long and short term. The house has a lot of history, it is cozy and homey, with shared house vibes, and it frequently attracts a variety of sociable people, making it a great place to live and make friends while working, on vacation, or backpacking!

I stayed at this last resort for two months in April and June 2021, the first week was supposed to be four weeks. This place has a homey vibe, the people are like family, and the entire atmosphere is great, the manager makes sure it is so. This place is recommended 100 times. A must stay when visiting Queenstown if you want to make new friends. Movie nights and enjoyable outings every night. More of a family than your roommates. I love this place and will definitely return.

I have stayed in the hostel for 4 months and have met a lot of lovely people. All the staff are really friendly. The house is very comfortable and clean. There is a great balcony, large garden and living room perfect for hanging out.
