The grounds and the hotel itself look great from the outside. The rooms are well-organized and the breakfast is fine. The hiking paths that take you around the hotel's past are also very intriguing. When we stayed at the hotel, there was a wedding happening, so we couldn't use the old living rooms or the old part, which was a huge disappointment. Other places to hang out are new and fresh, but we were there for the old part. Dinner is OK, but not really good. The hallways also look very worn out, the wallpaper is badly scratched and it seems like tigers are living there for a few years too. On our porch, there was mold on the balcony fence, needing a good clean and maybe paint. It prob't cost to care for such a big property, so maybe lowering the price on the nicer room like the one we stayed in would make the grounds better. Also, the lobby area is not very cozy. Learn from other historic hotels.

From Saturday to Sunday, we enjoyed an evening of winetasting along with a three-course supper, overnight stay, and breakfast. We were a little bit larger than others who had made the same decision. We had no idea what kind of food or beverages would be served in advance, but our hopes were high. We weren't let down, he was really impressed. The program's progress was in a way straightforward, but it had several bright spots. The aperitif, a white champagne from Moet Chandon, was served to us. We were each paired with two wines. The wine and food were of the highest caliber, completely compatible. Each wine was paired with two of our three courses. There was time for questions and opinions because of the informative presentation of each wine. Every wine was presented in a timely manner. The sommelier was really knowledgeable and entertaining to listen to. We thought this dinner was a time-consuming one, and it was one we would never forget. To summarize, the day would end after a while. We returned to our rooms and slept comfortably in cozy beds. Breakfast was abundant in options the following morning, and we left with only good souvenirs, especially those from the polite and helpful staff. Many thanks, all of you.

I spent a business trip there. The staff was very kind and the conference room was modern. The room on the upper floor overlooked the golf course just outside. There was some music noise from the bar or somewhere at night, but it stopped after midnight. continental breakfast, considering COVID 19. Dinner was strange, see separate review.

What a great experience! This is a great conference hotel. Large rooms, delicious food all meals, polite employees who help you with a smile. The basement bar has two shuffle boards. Great fun. I'm happy to know I'm back.

It was a good experience while staying here. The hotel needs to be more kept up. 15 years ago, we visited last year and still think it was well maintained. Staff are very helpful. Food is delicious, pricey. The golf course is clean. Maybe this time in the future.
