This place was fantastic! Its uncommon to have a hanbok with its own private bathroom, so it was undoubtedly incredibly affordable! The host and his wife were extremely kind and even attempted to upgrade me to i upgraded to an additional room on my second day because they had more space after he had left if yayo in the morning. However, despite my gracious refusal, my room was pretty amazing at first. The gyeongbokgung palace is only ten minutes away from this location, while the bukchon village is 15 minutes distant. There are many things to do and see here. Just heedful note. Everything closes around 9 p. M. And opens around 10 m.

The house is 150 years old and located in the heart of old town. It is very interesting and beautiful to experience traditional korean housing. Note that only small towels are provided and it is next to a nice bar.

Ive stayed here three times. This time, i remained here in the winter. However, the room was warm and the shawer was hot. I believe this house is one of swanky traditional guest houses. There was no tobacco odor. All rooms are smokefree.

This place is highly recommended! A fantastic location to stay! This guesthouse is really lovely. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating, and the accommodations are cozy and traditional. It serves a delicious traditional korean breakfast. Excellent value, spotless, wellkept, in sanitized condition, with excellent maintenance.

Before visiting this place, be aware that the rooms are a little on the small side. However, taking that into account, the accommodations are pleasant and tidy. The staff was excellent and extremely friendly. Breakfast is delivered directly to your room. I couldnt have asked for supper in eelok.

In a great and quiet location tucked away in secluded alleyways but very close to many restaurants, cafes and shops in the middle of bukchon hanbok village. Very walkable area. Close to nearby bus stations 3-8 minutes walk and 10 minutes stroll to anguk metro station. Interesting way to experience living in an old house (sleep on the floor and use thinner mattresses) 100 years old plus house. If you are not picky, the daily morning breakfast is delicious. The host speaks basic english but is not very friendly. Rooms are very small. When the place gets busy, it can be noisy from nearby rooms. Common areas need major decluttering.

If you want to live like a traditional korean stay, the price is good, include wifi and breakfast meal. Walking distance from buchon village and line number 3 subway. Sophia and her mother are very nice ladies. The place has history.
